One of the pet peeves about aging is the grey hairs to come along with it. And, if you are (un)lucky to have a family history of early greying like I am, you will be heading to the salons on a monthly basis for hair color treatment to mask this. Since starting to go grey a few years back, I have spent money on over the counter permanent coloring kits, as well as professional coloring done at salons. But, after 2-3 weeks of coloring, I begin to notice those pesky white/grey hairs roots beginning to show. Even with all the money I spend on hair coloring and even going to top quality salons for treatment, I still can't make the permanent hair coloring last longer than 2-3 weeks, without having to head back to the salon for additional touch ups. over time, this adds up, and now with two kids, I need to spend less money at the salon trying to cover greys, but also don't want to have to deal with early greying.
