Please describe your business and yourself? 

We invented a baby bottle warmer that is use for warming bottle on the go. The product is patented and currently selling.  On our website at www.ontheflybottle.com under about us it describes the story of the company and myself.

Describe your ideal workday:

Talking with a parent on the phone that has just discovered our product and is so happy because in the past there has been nothing else like it.

What have been some of your major challenges? 

Every day.  Always challenges you have to look at them as stepping-stones.

What have been some of your major successes? 

Getting the product at Toys “R” Us and Babies “R” Us online.

On those impossible days, what motivates you to keep going? 

The ability to bring a product to market that meets an unmet need for parents.

If there were one piece of advice you could give to your children about running a successful business, what would it be? 

Never give up and realize early on its hard work.

What is your balancing secret in managing a business and family? 

I’m fortunate as my son is grown and in college.  I don’t know how I would do this if he were still home.  I believe it’s never too late to fulfill your dreams.

What has been a struggle while starting up your company? 

Always financing and having enough time in the day.

Do you have any advice for other mom entrepreneurs that are starting out and struggling, or are on the fence about starting a business? 

You have to really give it you all, be prepared to work harder than you ever have.  If you keep the passion for what you do, you will make it.

Do you have a favorite business tool and/or resource?

I read a lot of books and try to learn something from everyone I meet.  Whether it’s business or personal.

What is next for your business? 

Launching the product in several large retail stores.

Your two cents sales pitch? 

Have warm bottles anywhere, no microwave, no electric, and no batteries.  Multiple feedings with all-day warmth.
