Holiday Gift Guide 2017: Fans of the Grumpy Cat Will Love This Maze/Adult Coloring Book (Review)

Grumpy Cat's Miserable Mazes: Mazes That Will Make You Reconsider Your Life Choices

Do you know about Grumpy Cat?  Maybe you used one of the many Grumpy Cat memes while chatting, or saw the many books and calendars published about this Internet sensation.  My oldest daughter, Savannah, who loves cats and wishes her little sister wasn't allergic so that she could get one, just LOVES Grumpy Cat.  She has stuffed animals, journals and other Grumpy Cat stuff that she finds out and out.  For her birthday next year she is hoping for a Grumpy Cat birthday.  If you see this grumpy looking cat you wonder why so many people love it.

The reason so many people love the Grumpy cat is that they can relate to it.  We all don't have great days 365 days a year. There are so days we wish would just end, or wonder why we even got out of bed in the AM as nothing seems to go right.  This is where Grumpy Cat comes in.  Memes and images of this cat are plastered all over the Internet for people to share about their blah days, and when people see these images, they can't help but smile (and like) as they can relate.  We can't be grumpy pants every day and this cat reminds us that yes there are bad days, but also there are good and great days.  We just have to make our way through those off days to get to enjoy the good days.  There is always a bright side to things, you just have to be on the lookout for it.

Grumpy Cat fans will love this fun maze book featuring 40 black and white illustrations to color, solve the maze and then tear out and hang up to admire.  Adult coloring is all the craze right now now.  And, when you pair it with fun and difficult mazes, you have the perfect gift idea this holiday season for Grumpy Cat and cat lovers in general.

"One of the internet’s most popular memes and most famous felines is back! With this book, color in Grumpy Cat’s perennially grumpy face, body, fur, and more. In addition to filling the furious little furball with your favorite colors, you can also find your way through miserable mazes hidden throughout these intricate illustrations.

It’s the perfect activity book for the perpetual grouch to have some fun, relieve a little stress, and add a faint glimmer of happiness in their otherwise sour existence. It’s also a nice gift for those who enjoy the company of cats, curmudgeons, or a combination of both.

The book features forty black-and-white illustrations to color, perforated pages, as well as an answer key if you can’t manage to solve the mazes. So, relax grumpy pants—embrace your inner grouch with Grumpy Cat’s Miserable Mazes and maybe you’ll be able to look on the bright side a little more often."

---

My daughters and I have been having a blast solving the mazes.  When we are done, we pull out our colored pencils and add color to these cute black and white illustrations.  If you were to come to our house, you would see our complete Grumpy Cat works of art hanging on the walls in the girls' room as well as all over my fridge.  This coloring/maze book really is fun, and has kept up busy, especially on those days we wake up a little grouchy. :-)

A Fun Holiday Movie the Whole Family Will Enjoy -- Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever -- Now Available on DVD (Review)

Disclosure:  I was sent a review copy from the vendor in order to write up an honest review.  All views shared are mine and mine alone.

Grumpy Cat's Worst Christmas Ever

If you are looking for a fun movie to share with your family this holiday, why not consider picking up Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever, which is now available on DVD from Lionsgate Home Entertainment.  We were recently sent a review copy and the girls couldn't wait to watch it, especially Savannah, who just loves cats.  The first thing she said when she saw the DVD cover was "Poor kitty, he is so sad".  When I told her the movie title and read the back cover to her, she was eager to watch the movie.  She couldn't believe any cat could be so grumpy.  And, she could't help but giggle when she saw the cat driving a car in a photo on the back cover.

The other night after dinner, I put this movie on to watch.  I have to admit, I didn't think I was going to like the movie, as it looked a little silly to me.  But, as the movie started, I found myself getting into it and loving it.  You can't help but laugh at the different scenes in this movie, featuring the Grumpy Cat, who has become an Internet sensation.  I know I am not alone is saying that I hope they come out with more Grumpy Cat holiday movies, as they really are fun to watch with the whole family, and will have everyone laughing.

More about this movie:

"One of the most famous internet cats of all time, Grumpy Cat makes her feature film debut in Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever, arrived on DVD December 16 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. Appearing on the scene in 2012, Grumpy Cat (real name Tardar Sauce) was named the “Most Influential Cat of 2012” by MSNBC and the “Most Important Meme of 2012” by Mashable. Since then, Grumpy Cat has become a household name with its nearly 7 million likes on Facebook, over 28 million video views on its official YouTube Channel and merchandising/endorsement deals around the country. Written and directed by Tim Hill (Alvin and the Chipmunks), Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever stars Aubrey Plaza (TV’s “Parks and Recreation”) as the voice of Grumpy Cat. The Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever DVD features special bonus material* and is available for the suggested retail price of $14.98.

In this feline sensation’s first movie, Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever, lonely Grumpy Cat lives in a mall pet shop where she never gets chosen by customers. Because she always gets passed over, this kitty develops a very sour outlook on life until...one day during the holidays, a very special 12-year-old girl named Chrystal enters the pet store and falls in love with Grumpy. The two form a special friendship when Chrystal discovers she is the only person who can hear this feline talk. Will Grumpy Cat finally learn the true meaning of Christmas, or will it be, in Grumpy’s words, the “Worst. Christmas. Ever.”?"
