Christmas Gift Baskets

Today was a good mail day, in terms on not getting any bills. :-)  Plus, we received an unexpected box which made for an impromptu cookies and milk kind of morning, as the whole family snuggled up under warm blankets still in our PJ's, to watch a quick holiday movie before starting our day.  With the backdrop of white snow still blanketing the yard outside, it was a nice way to start a chilly Saturday fall morning.

So, what delicious surprise were we sent?  The folks at GourmetGiftBaskets.com sent their new new Season's Greetings Holiday Gift Basket, which is available now for only $69.99 and includes FREE ground shipping.

"Fabulously festive and brilliantly delicious, this delightful gift is the perfect way to spread cheer this Christmas season! We've filled a wooden gift tray with an assortment of irresistible gourmet baked goods, like fudge brownie cookies and mint chocolate brownies, creating a lovely holiday gift that's as pleasing to the eye as it is to the palate."

As you can see in the photo and description above, these gourmet baked goods, which are freshly baked in New Hampshire, really were irresistible.

As soon as my girls and husband saw me take it out of the box, the idea of eggs, bacon and toast for the AM went out the window, and they were pouring glasses of cold milk, and trying to decide which brownie, cookie or whoopie pie they would eat first.

I couldn't get over how much you get in the Season's Greetings Holiday Gift Basket.  The wooden gift tray that the baked goods come in, was overflowing, and each tasty treat was individually wrapped.

The cookies were wrapped in packs of two -- which means if you grabbed a cookie pack, you had to each both -- or, so my youngest daughter said.  She wasn't sharing the chocolate chocolate chip cookies she grabbed from the tray.  Thankfully, there was another pack, as my other daughter loves chocolate chip cookies, and wanted one, too.  My husband opted for the whoopie pie, and found that he could only eat half, as the filling alone was filling him up.  And, you know what, I didn't mind, as I got to eat the other half. :-)  It was teamwork, tackling the oh so tasty whoopie pie that came in this festive holiday gift basket.

With the holidays fast approaching, this and other new gift baskets and gourmet treats from GourmetGiftBaskets.com would make for great gift ideas for family and friends.  If you ship gifts to those living out of state, these sweet treats would make for the perfect gift idea, especially with a special 10% off offer on their website and FREE ground shipping.  And, if you order now, you don't have to worry about upgrading to expedited shipping, as it will get there in time.

I have been shopping GourmetGiftBaskets.com for years, and have never been disappointed with their gourmet treats and gift baskets.  I usually buy them and ship to family living in other states, as I don't have to worry about standing in long lines at the post office to ship a package, and who doesn't like waking up or coming home after a long day at the office, to a box from GourmetGiftBaskets.com waiting at their door?  My girls were all smiles this morning when they got the mail and saw a box from GourmetGiftBaskets.com on our doorstep.  They couldn't wait for me to open it to see what tasty treats were inside.  And, the Season's Greetings Holiday Gift Basket didn't disappoint.

After experiencing the delectable gourmet baked treats from the Season's Greetings Holiday Gift Basket, I will definitely be sending this to family this holiday season, who are also fans of brownies, cookies and whoopie pies.  And, for those who love popcorn, they will be getting their new Happy Holiday Reindeer Popcorn Tin.

 Congrats, Shannon

I was recently sent the “Holiday Cheer” Holiday Gift Basket from Doodlebuckets.com to review.  This cheerful gift basket, which retails for $49.99, consisted of a holiday red tray, filled with the following treats:
  • Chocolate Chip Cookie
  • Chocolate Wafers 2.1oz
  • Roasted Garlic Spread  & Knife
  • Tom Clark's Caramel Popcorn
  • Pepper Crackers 2oz
  • Almond Roca 0.80oz
  • Mocha Roca 1.2oz
  • Lindt Truffle 3pc 1.3oz
I have ordered and received holiday gift baskets over the years for personal and business purposes, and have to say that after receiving and sampling the products from this gift basket, that Doodlebuckets.com ranks top on my list of go-to gift basket stores.  First, I love their overall selection of gift baskets, especially their large assortment of Christmas Gift Baskets, priced to fit everyone’s budget.  And, the quality of each product included in the baskets is top notch.  Usually when I have given or received these types of baskets in the past, that half the products were thrown out, as no one was interested in eating the cheeses, meats or cookies that were included, as they didn’t look or smell appealing.  When I chose this basket for review, I made sure it included a sampling of products that one would see from a gift basket site.  After receiving the basket, it only took 2 days to consume all the products included in the basket.  My husband and I especially loved the cookies and chocolates.  And, for a snack the other night, we had the cheese and crackers – which I have to say were mighty tasty.  Usually, I don’t each the cheeses from these baskets, but this cheese looked and tasted great.  It was rich and creamy and really complimented the crackers nicely.
So, if you looking to over Christmas Gift Baskets this holiday season, why not head on over to Doodlebuckets today to check out their product line.  I guarantee that you will find a basket that is just right for that special someone.
