Families everywhere are making plans to see this beautiful love story, based on Karen’s bestselling book by the same name.
I saw the new Someone Like You movie the other day, based on Karen Kingsbury's book which released in 2020, with the same title, through an advance screening link on my computer, thanks to the folks at Karen Kingsbury Productions and Momentum Influencers -- and I loved it! After seeing the trailer for the movie a few weeks ago, and having read the book previously, I couldn't wait to see it. After watching the movie the other day, I couldn't stop talking about with friends and family, and ended up getting a group of my girlfriends together today to go see in the theater. We all had our tissues in hand, as this is a tear-jerker. The movie will pull at your heartstrings, but will also warm your heart, and make you so glad you saw it.
With so much division in our world and people looking for an outlet to escape and just live in the moment and be reminded about God and his plan for each of us, this is the perfect movie to bring everyone together in theaters, to see a wonderfully put together movie that the whole family can watch together and enjoy. This movie is about healing, redemption and hope, and will move each and every person who sees this movie. Just be warned...it is a tearjerker and you'll need tissues for a few parts throughout this film.
I can't wait to go again and see this movie while it it in theaters, and support such a film and vision by the author, who also funded this movie herself, and worked alongside her son, who is a screenwriter, to bring her story and message of hope and redemption to life and to the big screen+. And, I will definitely be buying it to add my movie collection to watch time and again, once it arrives on DVD down the line. I know once you see this movie you will agree and plan to do the same. :-)

Usually I prefer the book over a movie, but that wasn't the case here, as the movie is SO GOOD! The cast is great, the music is great, and the message of faith and GOD really do stand out and resonate throughout the film. Highly recommend this movie for those looking for a wholesome romantic story, that will leave feeling moved as you leave the theater, and talking about this movie for days and weeks to come. A must see for sure!
