Caroline Selmes's illustrations are so stunning.  I found myself lingering with each turn, just to admire the playful and oh so colorful ocean scenes.  She did an amazing job at capturing the details of each of the sea creatures, and this truly made playing this matching game with my girls that much more enjoyable.  We found ourselves talking about past trips to the beach and ocean and some of the sea creatures depicted on the matching cards during our exploring, and how this summer we hope to go back to the shoreline and ocean and see more.

Who knew that game night could be so enjoyable with just a matching game.  I like how this game includes a "spot the sea creature" aspect to game, instead of simply trying to match cards or ask for a card from another player's hand.

I think this is what has made this a fun game to play as a family, as well as one the girls like to play on their own together.  The rules of the game are easy to explain even to the youngest of players. And, once you get going with the game, you will want to play again and again.
