Has there been one movie your family has wanted to see in the theaters? For my family it was Disney's Jungle Cruise. So, when it did release into theaters, my girls were bummed, as they aren't vaccinated yet, so we are laying when it comes to indoor places like the movie theaters. I told them, that soon enough it would arrive to DVD. But, then they saw the release date was November 16th, and I heard more grumbles and sighs. They had waited so long for this movie, and now they would have to wait until mid November. Well, I made the girls' day the other night, when I told them we were having a special movie night. Usually we do movie night's on Fridays, and had our weekly movie night. But, Saturday was a surprise, and boy was it a surprise. I wish you could have heard the girls' squeals and screams of excitement when they saw Jungle Cruise on the television. They had no idea it was releasing to Digital on August. 31st, so weren't even planning to see it until the DVD came out.

As soon as the movie started to play, both of my girls' eyes were glued to the screen, and they were both all smiles. My youngest is a huge Rock fan thanks to the Jumanji movies, and my oldest loves Emily Blunt after seeing her in the Mary Poppins movies. Having their favorite actor and actress is a movie together made this a definite must see. And, when the movie ended, my youngest was quick to ask if we owned the movie and could watch it again and again, over and over again, whenever they wanted. I said, "Yes!," and got another happy scream out of her.  It was hard to get a favorite part of the movie from the girls, as they said they loved it all.  I really thought that the Rock and Emily Blunt worked well together.  I know Emily is funny, but when you pair her with the Rock, we couldn't stop laughing at the two of them together.

This really was a great family-friendly movie, and one we will watch time and again. It was well worth the wait to arrive on Digital, and we plan to pick up on DVD when it arrives on November 16th, so that the girls can bring the movie in the car and watch on long car rides.  If you have been waiting eagerly like my family to see Jungle Cruise, now you can watch it when you buy it on Digital. Or, if you want to wait a little longer, now is the time to pre-order the DVD, 4K Ultra HD or Blu-ray, so it arrives when it releases in stores early November.
