CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED ADAPTATION OF THE BELOVED CHILDREN’S NOVEL ARRIVES ON BLU-RAY & DVD FOR THE FIRST TIME

Own the Visually Stunning Film February 9, 2021 with Making-Of Featurette and Music Video

Growing up, I used to love reading the classic story, The Little Prince, by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. It was a favorite book of mine as a child, is still a favorite to read as an adult. Back when I was pregnant with both of my girls, I would read this book to them in English, and my husband would read it in Spanish, so that the girls would know our voices. And, as I sit here in my living room typing this blog post, one of the famous quotes from the book is stenciled on my wall behind me.  I love quoting this book, and am so excited to now be able to watch it in movie format.

Over the years, there have been different variations of The Little Prince that have been released in movie format -- from a series of movies to animated ones. I have seen them all, and own them all on DVD, but I have to say this release from Parramount is by far my favorite.  It really holds true to the timeless story that everyone knows and loves from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, and it is done in such a fun and playful way that it entertains both kids and adults of all ages.

I was excited to share this new Paramount release with my girls, and see what they thought of it, and how it compared to other The Little Prince movies they have seen in the past. And, like me, in the end, they both agreed that they really liked this version the best, and couldn't wait to watch it again. They were happy to own the Blu-ray and digital copies of this movie, so they could watch it whenever they wanted, along with the fun special features, which includes a music video and making of featurette.

I could go on and on about how great this movie rendition of The Little Prince is. But, if you are a true fan of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry timeless story, then you will want to see this movie and relive some of your favorite parts of the story through this fun and heartwarming animated movie.  My family gives this move two thumbs up, and I know our family will, too! Just be warned, there are some emotional parts throughout the movie, so be sure you have a box of tissues handy.  My youngest daughter and I walked away with red eyes and runny noses from crying while watching this movie, as it does pull at your heartstrings, in a good way.
