Does your family like family game nights?  Every Saturday night we have game night in our house, and the girls each get to choose a game to play, before I introduce a new game to the mix, to change things up. Usually we play board and card games that have doing silly stunts or things that have us all laughing and tearing up.  And, this past Saturday, my new game I shared had everyone trying their hardest not to laugh, but in the end, we all cracked and laughed so loud and hard that our belly's hurt -- but, it was well worth it!  The game we played was Dad Face Off, and is a must play game for families who love family game nights.

So what is Dad Face Off and why is it such a hilarious game? Here is more about the game, which comes in two different volumes from the folks at Playroom Entertainment...

"Two volumes of Dad Face Off have been developed with the teen crowd in mind and perfect for active engagement between kids and dads - in this face-to-face game, the first player to laugh or smile at their opponent's joke loses. This series includes hilarious content where teens try not to laugh at their Dad's cheesy jokes. MSRP $20.00

Get ready for the game with the best worst jokes you've ever heard! Inspired by the hit internet sensation, we bring you the party game that will make any game night a laugh riot: Dad Joke Face-Off. We've all groaned or rolled our eyes after hearing "dad jokes" before, but, when the pressure is on, can you stop yourself from laughing or even cracking a smile?

In Dad Joke Face-Off, two players sit face to face and take turns telling jokes. Read a Dad Joke off of your card and do so WITHOUT SMILING OR LAUGHING, while trying to get your opponent to crack. Sounds pretty simple? Don't take our word for it, get your friend and family together and see who laughs... or doesn't laugh the most!

When a player smiles or laughs, their opponent gives them a "Made you laugh" card. The player with the least Made you laugh cards wins the round. Continue to Face Off with other opponents to see who has the best (or worst) sense of humor with the game you can't help but laugh at!"

Doesn't this sound like such a fun game?  I don't know about you, but my dad was always a bad jokester. He would laugh at his own boring jokes, usually before he even got to the punch line. So, as I sat down and played this game with my family the other night, I could picture my dad saying some of these ridiculous jokes and couldn't help but think of him telling the jokes, and that made them even more funnier.  It was so hard to not crack a smile and start laughing.  My two girls just gave eye rolls as I read the jokes, without even an ounce of laughter overcoming them.  It wasn't until the fifth joke and they were breaking their stare and couldn't stop laughing.  We had so much fun playing this game, and every time a game ended, one of us would be quick to say, "Let's play again!."  In the end, we went through all 600 dad jokes, and had so many great laughs.  Too bad we will not be having family and friends over for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year, as Dad Joke Face-Off 2nd Edition would have been such a fun game to play with everyone after eating.  I so can't wait to tell some of these dad jokes to my dad and see what he thinks. I know that he will definitely have a hard time of not laughing. And, I suspect he will be stealing some of these dad jokes to tell others in the future.

If you are looking for a fun new game to play during family game night, or want a fun gift to give to the person who has everything, then Dad Joke Face-Off 2nd Edition is the perfect game to pick up and play with your family, or give as a gift.  You can learn more about Dad Joke Face-Off versions 1 and 2 over at https://www.playroomtoys.com/.
