This film features Bill Nye the Science Guy and Elvira and Mistress of the Dark, as they join everyone’s favorite teen sleuths in a thrilling, action-packed Halloween adventure the whole family can enjoy together.

Ever since receiving a screener of Happy Halloween Scooby-Doo! earlier in the week, I was looking forward to the weekend, as I knew we would have a fun new family-friendly Halloween movie to watch together as a family.  I don't know about you, but we have been watching all the classic and fun animated Halloween movies that have been airing on television these past couple weeks, as we count down to Halloween.  Even though Halloween is cancelled where we are, that doesn't mean my girls are not excited about Halloween. They are planning a virtual Halloween party with their friends, to show off their costumes, play fun games, and enjoy Halloween themed snacks together. And, now after watching this new Scooby-Doo Halloween movie, my girls are now having their friends get a digital copy of this movie so that they can watch it during their virtual Halloween party. The movie was so good, that they have been talking all about with friends today and now have their friends wanting to see it too!

What we loved about this Scooby-Doo movie is that it was packed with laugh out louds scenes, plot twists that had us glued to the screen not wanting to miss a second, and come on...who doesn't love Scooby-Doo and Shaggy together?!  My girls have a nice little Scooby-Doo movie collection, thanks to adding my childhood movies and adding to it over the years, and now they can add this recent Halloween movie to their collection.

Like I said, we watched this movie Saturday night for our family movie night. Before the movie, we carved up pumpkins and make a few Halloween themed snacks to enjoy when sitting down to watch the movie. But, the real fun was had when the lights were turned out and we put this movie on.  From the moment the movie started to play, we were all smiling and laughing.  I liked how Bill Nye the Science Guy and Elvira, Mistress of the Dark helped the gang solve the mystery and save Crystal Cove.  This new release also contains 3 bonus cartoons as its bonus content/special features.  We watched these bonus cartoons this morning, and the girls ended up watching them over again, as they really liked them.  I couldn't blame them, as I sat for them, and found myself laughing and enjoying them, too!

If you and your family love Scooby-Doo, then you will definitely want to check out Happy Halloween Scooby-Doo!, available now on DVD and Digital. This is one of those holiday movies you will look forward to watching year after year, as you count down to Halloween.  We can't wait to watch it again this week, and a few more times before Halloween. And, once you see this movie for the first time, you will love it, and want to watch it again, too!
