#CampWarnerBros - Week 4 - Scooby-Doo!: WrestleMania Mystery + Tasty Scooby Snack Recipe

It's another week at #CampWarnerBros...how are all my campers doing?  We have been having a heat wave here in CT, mixed with rainy days.  So, we have used this crazy summer weather to catch up on some fun crafting, making no-bake treats (as not to heat the house up), and watching some great family-friendly movies including the action-packed animated movie, Scooby-Doo!: WrestleMania Mystery.

" When Shaggy and Scooby win tickets to WrestleMania®, they convince the entire Mystery Inc. gang to travel to WWE City in the Mystery Machine to enjoy the show. But the trip quickly turns into another mystery as WWE City is full of secrets! A mysterious ghostly bear appears and threatens to ruin the show and steal the championship title belt. With the help of WWE Superstars John Cena®, Triple H®, Sin Cara®, Brodus Clay®, AJ Lee™, The Miz®, Santino®,  and Kane® -  Scooby-Doo and The Mystery Inc. gang team up to solve the case before it is too late!"

Even though this movie released a few years ago, it was our first time watching it the other day, and boy did my girls have a blast, especially my youngest daughter.  I was so hoping to get photos of my daughter watching the movie as she was wearing her favorite John Cena t-shirt, eating an ice cream bar she found at the market with John Cena's image on it, and sitting next to her "All About John Cena" book.  To say she likes John Cena is an understatement!  She is almost 9 years old, and already has a crush on a celebrity. :-)  Every time I tried to take her photo, she would blush and then hide under a pillow.

When I told my girls about this week's camp theme and movie, they were both so excited and couldn't wait to color in one the coloring sheets I had printed out, and also make the Scooby Snacks treat, to enjoy with our movie night.  I don't know about you, but I love when I can find and print activity and coloring sheets to go along with a movie night flick, as well as a themed snack. It makes for a more enjoyable family movie night, and also turns it into a whole day affair of fun, leading up to our movie night. Like I mentioned above, I printed off some fun coloring sheets that #CampWarnerBros. sent my way, and also found some other coloring and activity sheets for the girls to do. They even made a cute Scooby-Doo! paper bag puppet as a craft that they thought up themselves, and made.

Here are the fun coloring sheets I was sent for the girls to color.  You can print them out and share with your kids before or after you sit down and watch Scooby-Doo!: WrestleMania Mystery together...

Bring out the artist in your little ones as they bring the characters to life with these printable coloring pages!

In addition to the coloring sheets above, I was also provided with an easy Scooby Snacks -- think Puppy Chow -- for the girls to make.  I loved how this didn't require the use of the oven and heating up the house, as it was already hot out and inside from the 90 degree days and mugginess we were having from all the rain.

*Allow your campers to get creative with their culinary skills and test their taste buds Scooby-style by adding their own flair of ingredients to the mix! When shake shake shaking the mix – make sure to laugh, have fun with your campers and maybe even make up your own “Scooby Snack Shake Shake” dance in your kitchen! After all – camp is supposed to be silly – and fun!*

My girls are not big Chex cereal fans, so we used Rice Krispies instead.  We also switched out the peanut butter and used marshmallows.  We added all the other ingredients in the recipe, and when it came time to cut up, we ended up crumbling up the mixture into bite size pieces, and I filled Ziploc bags with the girls' Scooby Snacks so that they could enjoy while they watched the movie. My girls really liked how this no-bake snack came out and how delicious it was.  They want me to buy more cereal and try a few didn't cereals along with the peanut butter next time they make it.  That is what is so fun about this super easy Scooby Snacks recipe, your kids can experiment and play around with the recipe, adding or changing up ingredients to make it their own. My girls really loved how their Scooby Snacks came out and were proud when they handed out the snack bags when we sat down for the movie.

We are having a blast with our weekly #CampWarnerBros. virtual camp experience. How about you?  Warner Bros. has so many great family friendly movies that are helping families like mine keep kids entertained and having fun while stuck home this summer. We can't wait to watch Scooby-Doo!: WrestleMania Mystery again this weekend, and are looking forward to next week's #CampWarnerBros. fun.  The movie I will be featuring is Teen Titan's Go! Vs Teen Titans. And, for the activity I will be sharing a fun character bank craft for kids/families to do.  So, be on the look out early next week for Week 5 fun. :-)
