Welcome back virtual campers!  We are now in Week 5 of Camp Warner Bros..  This week is all about Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans...so if your family loves the Teen Titans Go! animated series on Cartoon Network, then you will love this week's movie.  Both of my girls are huge fans of the series, and were so excited to watch this movie for our family movie night as they hadn't seen it yet. It has been on their "to watch" list; and, now they were getting an opportunity to not only watch the movie, but also make a fun craft, a character bank, to remind them of this fun week at Camp Warner Bros..

For those unfamiliar with the series or the Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans movie, here is a little bit about this movie, which is a great family-friendly movie and must see for Teen Titans Go! fans of all ages....

About Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans:

"In Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans (available now on Digital, DVD and Blu-ray), the comedic modern-day quintet takes on their 2003 counterparts when villains from each of their worlds join forces to pit the two Titan teams against each other. They’ll need to set aside their differences and work together to combat Trigon, Hexagon, Santa Claus (that’s right, Santa!) and time itself in order to save the universe."

And, for this week's fun virtual summer camp activity, the folks at Camp Warner Bros. have come up with a fun craft that is not only easy to do, but will also teach kids about saving their money.

"This week, when the forces of evil unite from across time and dimensions, it’ll take the combined efforts of distinctly different, yet similar Super Hero teams to keep the universe secure in the action-packed animated mash-up movie -  Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans.

It’s time to get crafty with these adorable Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans Character Banks - while learning a little bit about finances and household responsibility!

Gain control of your own Titans Tower  – and give your campers a lesson of earning, motivation, and accountability by offering allowance for their Summer Chores! Campers can save their money in their very own Character Banks: https://wbproductions.box.com/v/CampWBCharacterBank

While chores can be a bore – you can figure out small incentives to help your campers learn about the value of the dollar, and working hard for something they really want. You can teach budgeting and saving to help set them up for their future. If they feel like being real Super Heroes – they can even do chores for charity – and have them donate to a cause that can save someone else’s Universe!"

My girls had a blast making their Teen Titans Go! character banks. In addition to their banks, they also make their very own night light/lantern featuring their favorite Teen Titans Go! characters.

Bella, my youngest, has been using this character light at bedtime to light up her room, as she drifts off to sleep looking at Starfire she added to her mason jar.  This was an easy craft to make.  You follow the same directions as the above character bank craft.  The only difference is that we opted not to paint the jar orange, as it would have blocked the light.  We used a tinted blue Ball mason jar, and decoupaged the show logo on one side, and a character photo to the other. Then, we added one of those $1 store battery operated tea light candles that flicker.

I really liked how these crafts came out, and how my girls came up with the idea after making their character banks.  So, this week it was a fun week of Teen Titans! Go crafting.  I know my girls will definitely remember this week of Camp Warner Bros.

As far as the movie goes, it was a hit with my girls as well as my husband and I.  We have sat for episodes of this popular animated series, and have seen another Teen Titans Go! movie, so we knew it would be fun. But, when it started, we knew we were in for a real treat, as the movie was filled with not only laugh out loud scenes, but also adventure and a great story line. As soon as the movie was over, my girls were quick to ask if we could watch it again soon.  We watched it last Friday, and have since watched it two more times as a family, and another time just the girls.  I am so glad we had the opportunity to watch Teen Titans Go! Vs Teen Titans as our movie for this fun Teen Titans Go! themed camp week, and are sad to see the camp week coming to an end. But, that also means that we are closer to Week 6 of Camp Warner Bros., which means we get to watch Alex and Me and do a fun summer goals chart and family fitness as our activities for the camp week. So, be on the look out for my Week 6 Camp Warner Bros. coming early next week.

In the meantime, why not gather up the supplies to make these super easy and super fun Teen Titans Go! character banks, and talk to your kids about saving money and budgeting, before settling in to watch our new favorite movie at the moment...Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans, available now on Digital, as well as DVD and Blu-ray from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.
