These really are crazy times we are in, aren't they. Not only are most places closed, but now many of the new movies that were set to be released in theaters are coming to Digital early, as are movies releasing to DVD, Blu-ray and 4K.  It feels like just last month I was taking my girls to see Dolittle at the movies theaters.  But, then I am reminded that we have been self-quarantining since the middle of March when the girls' outside homeschool classes started to get cancelled, and places started to close.  Even though we have been stuck at home for over a month, I have to admit that I have been enjoying, for the most part, this extra quality time at home with my family, without having to go anywhere.  We have all been able to catch up with movies and shows we have been meaning to watch, and are just enjoying spending time together and eating at the dining room table for every meal, instead of on the go, or in shifts.  With all this free time, you may find yourself wondering what to watch next, or a great family-friendly movie to watch. Well, I wanted to make sure you had Dolittle, starring Robert Downey Jr. on your radar, as it is now available on Digital, and will be releasing to 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD and On-Demand on April 7th (just in time to pick up and add to your child's Easter basket!). 

The kind folks at Universal Pictures Home Entertainment sent along a screener code for me to share Dolittle again with my family this past weekend.  My girls had been asking which movie we would watch, and I told them I had a surprise for them.  They loved this movie when we saw it in theaters a couple months ago, and wanted to get it on DVD when it was released, so that they could watch it time and again.  So, I knew they would be all smiles when they sat down and saw the opening credits of the movie...and, that they were!  My youngest daughter let out a yelp of excitement as soon as she recognized what was playing, and from that moment on, both of my girls' eyes were glued to the television screen, until the ending credits started to roll.

As you can see, this really is a great family-friendly movie that the whole family will enjoy.  My husband didn't come with us to the movies, so was watching Dolittle for the first time yesterday.  When the movie was over, he turned to the girls and said that he really enjoyed it, and couldn't wait to watch it again.  My oldest was quick to chime in that we would be home again tomorrow, so they could watch again.  And, this AM, when I woke up, the three of them were on the couch snuggled up under warm blankets watching Dolittle over again...and loving it!  I don't want to give away too much of the movie in case you haven't seen it yet.  II just wanted to make sure you had Dolittle on your radar if you were looking for a great family movie selection to watch with your family, as it is now available on Digital, and arriving on April 7th to DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD.
