To celebrate the recent release of Butterbean’s Café: Let’s Get Cooking on DVD, my girls were sent a super cute  Butterbean’s Café: Let’s Get Cooking Fairy Treat Kit to enjoy, along with the new DVD.  Both of my girls were super excited when their Butterbean's Cafe goodies arrived in the mail, as they are both fans of this popular Nickelodeon animated series.

Look at the cute goodies that made up the Let's Get Cooking Fairy Treat Kit...

My youngest daughter was quick to grab the green fairy wings as the fairy magic whisk that plays part of the show's catchy theme song.

Seeing just how much she loved the whisk toy, I ended up buying one online for my oldest daughter, so that she could have one, too!  She already had fairy wings from a previous Halloween costume, so she didn't mind that her sister grabbed the wings.

4 Recipe Cards Are Included with the DVD :-)

She was more excited about the heart silicone mold as she saw so many possibilities for its use including make heart ice cubes for a tasty lemonade drink (see video below for Pink Heart Lemonade recipe you can try at home inspired by the show), melting chocolate and molding cute little heart chocolates to put in a gift bags tied up with ribbons and give to family and friends to show how much she loves them :-),and even make Jello hearts to snack on.  Even though the girls were excited to see the goodies and play with them, their favorite thing of the box was the DVD, as they have been asking for this DVD ever since they heard it would be releasing.  They own another Butterbean's Cafe DVD, and watch this all the time at home and in the car, so they were super excited to be able to add another DVD from this show to their collection and have more episode options to choose from. :-)

Here is more about the new Butterbean’s Café: Let’s Get Cooking DVD, which contains 8 full-length episodes from the hit animated series...

My girls were quick to watch this new DVD, which is 94 minutes in length.  They had a hard time choosing their favorite episode as they said they were all so good But, I did find them watching the Dazzle's Cake-tastrophe! and "The Starlight Cupcake Surprise!" episodes a lot more than the others, and then wanting to bake up cakes and cupcakes in our kitchen. :-)  My oldest daughter is all about animals and wants to be a vet when she gets older, while my youngest daughter LOVES to cook and bake.  After I started to share family recipes that were passed down to me from my Italian grandmother, it is like she got bit by the cooking/baking bug, and wants to make meals and desserts for us, whenever she can.  I love teaching her new techniques and working alongside her to make a tasty meal for our family, followed up by an even tastier dessert. And, with additional homeschool cooking classes, she is turning into a really skilled baker just like Butterbean and her friends.

If you have a little one who loves to bake or help in the kitchen and loves Nickelodeon's hit animated series, Butterbean’s Café: Let’s Get Cooking, you will definitely want to pick up this new DVD, which is available now, and is only $7.99 at Amazon.  My girls have one had the DVD for a short time, but have watched it over a dozen times so far, without any signing of getting bored.  And, whenever they watch the DVD, they are quick to grab the fun goodies they were sent along with the DVD to play dress up and pretend to cook up magical treats to serve at Butterbean’s Café (AKA...our living room). :-)
