Get Ready for a Laugh Out Loud Movie Night When You Bring Home Playing with Fire Today -- Available Now on Digital, Blu-ray and DVD! (Review)

Disclosure: I was sent a screener and promotional product in exchange for an honest review. All views shared are mine and mine alone.

Last week, I shared how Playing with Fire was releasing to Blu-ray and DVD (Feb. 4th). Well, today I wanted to share just how much we LOVE this movie.  Usually we do family movie night on Fridays, but the girls are going to a Valentine's Day sleepover tonight, and have been asking to watch Playing with Fire, since we received a review copy the other day, with some fun movie swag/goodies.  So, last night after the girls got back from swim practice, we surprised them with an impromptu movie night, complete with chocolate covered strawberries, freshly baked cookies and cold milk, and popcorn, which was sent with our movie.

Before the movie, we played a few rounds of JENGA, which is played in the movie.  I didn't let the girls know we would be watching the movie. But, as soon as we started to play JENGA, my youngest kept talking about the following scene in the movie, which she thought was so funny...

Once we were done playing, we surprised the girls by putting the movie on.  From the moment the movie started to play, we couldn't stop laughing.  When you pair John Cena, Keegan-Michael Key and John Leguizamo together, you know you are in for a fun movie. And, this family-friendly movie really is one your whole family will enjoy and want to watch time and again again. The movie will pull at your heartstrings at times, but you will then be laughing the next moment and wiping away tears from laughing so hard.

There were so many great moments in the film, but I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen the movie yet.  What I will say is that my girls kept giggling at the grown men watching My Little Pony. And, next to John Cena's character, Jake Carson, we couldn't get over Axe, especially when he surprised everyone including movie viewers when he belted out the My Little Pony theme.

I was so glad we made time to watch Playing with Fire last night. And, I know that we will definitely be watching it again over the weekend -- the movie and all the great bonus content, which includes deleted scenes, bloopers and outtakes and so much more.  If you are looking for a great family friendly movie to watch with your whole family, I highly recommend Playing with Fire, available now on Digital, Blu-ray and DVD.  Be sure to have tissues handy to wipe away your tears from laughing so hard.

Savannah and Bella can't wait to hear what you think of the movie :-)

More about this movie:

When straight-laced fire superintendent Jake Carson (John Cena) and his elite team of expert firefighters (Keegan-Michael Key, John Leguizamo and Tyler Mane) come to the rescue of three siblings (Brianna Hildebrand, Christian Convery and Finley Rose Slater) in the path of an encroaching wildfire, they quickly realize that no amount of training could prepare them for their most challenging job yet – babysitters. Unable to locate the children’s parents, the firefighters have their lives, jobs and even their fire depot turned upside down and quickly learn that kids – much like fires –are wild and unpredictable.
