Have you or your kids ever wondered what Santa would look like if he wore something different than his usual red suit? A few years ago when my youngest daughter was on Santa's lap at the mall, talking to him and telling him what she wanted for Christmas, she asked if a question, which made him chuckle. She wanted to know what he likes to wear when he isn't in his red suit? Santa was thrown off guard as no one ever asked him what he likes to wear. Usually he gets questions about his favorite cookie or drink, favorite reindeer, favorite holiday song, etc?...but, never what else does Santa wear. Santa was quick to say he loves wearing pajamas when he is lounging around the house, but that he also likes to wear a track suit to run around town completing his errands. My daughter and Santa got a chuckle with his response.
I recently asked my daughter if she remembered asking Santa about this, but she didn't remember. She did, though, find this a very interesting question, and wondered what Santa would wear when his red suit was in the wash. Kids will have so much fun with this paper doll style activity book. But, instead of dressing girls in dresses like they have done with other books, my girls were in charge of dressing Santa in some casual attire, and some that are out there...think Easter Bunny and heavy metal rock star.
My girls really enjoyed this book and dressing Santa, and seeing him dressed in fun and silly outfits. Now, they don't have to wonder what Santa would look like if he was wearing something other than his red suit.
