While it is too late to order gift baskets and gourmet treats from GourmetGiftBaskets.com for Thanksgiving tomorrow, there is time to take advantage of their Black Friday deals, which are already up on their website.  This year, they are offering 15% off order up to $49 and 20% off orders over $50 (*exclusions may apply).  If you are a fan of GourmetGiftBaskets.com like my family is, then you will definitely want to head on over to their website today and take advantage of these deals for Black Friday.

I have been working with GourmetGiftBaskets.com since I started blogging back in 2008. They graciously send a couple of their new gourmet treats and gift sets new for each holiday or special occasion, for me to enjoy with my family, and share with you.  This year is no exception. :-)  Last week I received a box from GourmetGiftBaskets.com which included their Christmas Cake Pops and Holiday Bakery Sampler.

It was a nice surprise, and well received by my two girls, who had been hard at work on handmade ornaments to gift to family this holiday season.  As soon as they saw the Christmas Cake Pops, they both smiled from ear to ear, hoping that they would get to help me sample them for my review. :-)

"Spread Christmas cheer in the most delicious way with these elegant treats! We've taken rounds of our signature chocolate and vanilla cakes and dipped them by hand into baths of our signature imported Belgian chocolate. Each treat is then festively decorated with bright sprinkles, stocking-shaped candies, or ribbons of our signature confection."

The Christmas Cake Pops were almost too cute to eat...but, being a chocolate loving family, we couldn't wait to take a bite of these moist cake pops, first breaking through the chocolate dipped coating with festive sprinkles.

I was so glad that the Christmas Cake Pops came with ten cake pops in a box, as I knew my husband would want a chance to have one when he got home from work. And, when my girls and I would see him eating it, we would want another.

And, when it comes to sweet treats like these cake pops, my girls don't like to share. I don't blame them either, as I know personally just how good these cake pops taste.  Yum!

In addition the Christmas Cake Pops, the folks at GourmetGiftBaskets.com also send along their Holiday Bakery Sampler which is filled to the brim with sweet brownies and cookies.

Just look at the how many cookies and brownies you get with this holiday sampler....

What you are looking above is the following:

  • Fudge Walnut Brownie - 1 qty.
  • Chocolate Chunk Brownie - 1 qty.
  • Mint Chocolate Drizzle Brownie - 2 qty.
  • Almond Cranberry Blondie - 1 qty.
  • Butterscotch Blondie - 2 qty.
  • Snickerdoodle Blondie - 1 qty.
  • Chocolate Chip Cookies (2 pack) - 2 qty.
  • Fudge Brownie Cookies (2 pack) - 2 qty.
  • Lemon Sugar Cookies (2 pack) - 2 qty.
  • Chocolate Shortbread Cookie (2 pack) - 2 qty.
  • Molasses Cookie with Crystallized Ginger - 2 qty.
  • Peanut Butter Cookies (2 pack) - 2 qty.
While I do a lot of baking at the holidays, it is nice when a sampler like this arrives at your door, as it offers up a wonderful assortment of cookies to the sampler, that will satisfy everyone's sweet tooth.  We are a milk and cookie family, and loved grabbing a freshly baked cookie or brownie from this sampler box to go with a cold glass of milk.  It was nice sitting at the table with my girls, dipping our cookies and talking about the holidays.
