I shared in an earlier post today how my youngest daughter is a huge Harry Potter fan. She has her whole bedroom decked out in Harry Potter stuff, and is always wearing some sort of Harry Potter clothing (either shirts or socks). And, she can't go anywhere without her favorite spellcasting wand she made recently in her Harry Potter homeschooling class. She loves pretending to be casting spells on her older sister :-) So, when I was recently sent the charades style game, Harry Potter Spellcasters Game from Pressman, I knew she would be excited to help me review. This game is geared towards ages 6+, and needs between 3-8 players to play. The game comes with everything you need to play this game, including a large plastic wand that will remind you of the one Harry and his friends use to practice their spell casting in the Harry Potter movies.

Thanks to my daughter, everyone in our house has gotten into the Harry Potter movies and we have watched marathon after marathon of the movies, and have seen Harry, Ron and Hermione cast spells and wave their wands. So, it was fun to try our hand at spellcasting with the wand included in the box with this game. But, the best part was being able to grab a card, cast the smell with the right flick of the wrist and be called the best spellcaster. :-) If you are a true Harry Potter fan, you will find this an addicting and very competitive game, to show off your spellcasting skills to gain bragging rights!
