Halloween is 20 days away.  Are you all ready for it with your kids' costumes and candy for the trick or treaters?  Have you pulled some Halloween-themed movies to watch with your family as you countdown the days until Halloween?  We have been watching Halloween movies that have been airing on television each night, as well as watching Halloween DVDs we own that we watch every year.  And, this year, we have added something new to the mix...Ryan’s World Springin' Spiders from Far Out Toys.

Ever since adding this fast-paced game to the mix, our family game nights are much more fun! :-)

"This year Halloween can be even more spooky and fun with Far Out Toys and their collaboration with YouTube sensation, 7-year old Ryan of Ryan ToysReviews.

Ryan’s World and Far Out toys have created a new crazy game called Ryan’s World Springin' Spiders game just in time for Halloween!

In this fast-paced, action-packed game, players take turns launching spiders into the air and onto the web. Spring your spiders at enemy arachnids, knocking your opponent's spiders off the web and onto the ground - you can even perform cool trick shots.

The player with the most spiders on their side of the web when the timer runs out wins!

Comes with 16 spiders (8 black / 8 white), 1 web and 1 web stand

This game will retail for $14.99 and is for kids ages 5+. Ryan’s World Springin’ Spiders will be available on Amazon just in time for Halloween!"

There are only a few pieces to this game, and the set up of the web with the stand takes a minute.  You have to make sure you secure the web to the clips on the side, or it will fall off once the spiders start flying.  To get the spiders to launch, you push down on the back sides of the spider and they will hop.  Be sure to aim towards the web, and don't press down too hard, or your spider will jump right over the web.  After a little practice you will master this fun and oh so addicting game, that the whole family will love. And, when you get really good at making your spider jump, you will find you can do fun tricks with it, too!

With all this rain we have been having the past few days, Ryan’s World Springin' Spiders has been keeping my girls busy.  When they are done with school, they have been pulling this game out, setting it up, and playing for hours on end.  There is another version of this game that comes with a timer, but this particular one doesn't.  So, if you have a sand timer laying around the house you can use this and time yourself (if playing solo) or if playing against someone else, to see who can get the most spiders on the web before the timer runs out.

You can even knock your opponent's spider off, as a way to win, too!  If you don't have a timer, you can just take turns launching your spiders until the first person gets all their spiders on the web.  However you choose to play Ryan’s World Springin' Spiders from Far Out Toys, just know you will be in for a fun time.  I am so happy we now have a Halloween-themed game to play in addition to watching all these Halloween movies, or reading books.  Games are always fun, and this game is no exception.  At only $14.99, you can't go wrong for this family-friendly game the whole family will enjoy and want to play time and again.
