I was so happy to hear that THE SWAN PRINCESS was releasing on Blu-ray in a special 25th Anniversary Edition, as I knew my girls would love to add this movie to their collection. We had watched this movie a few years ago when I rented it from our library, and ever since then, the girls are always asking to take it out, or have me buy it on DVD or Blu-ray so that they could watch at home and bring in the car to enjoy while traveling. So, I thought this would be the perfect time to pick up the movie to share with my girls, in a fun The Swan Princess girls night in movie night, complete with spa time including hair and nails, as well as tasty treats and snacks fit for a princess. :-)
This past Friday, not only did I surprise my girls with the 25 anniversary Blu-ray release (thanks to Sony Pictures Home Entertainment for sending an advance copy our way), but I also had printed out a fun Halloween-themed activity sheet to go along with the movie, and had a fun Odette dress up costume for the girls to enjoy, while we watched the movie.

The fun spa day and activity sheet would have been enough to get the girls excited to sit and watch the The Swan Princess 25th Anniversary Special Edition from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
But, having the Odette dress up costume made it that much more enjoyable, as my girls got to take turns being Odette and acting out their favorite scenes from the movie.

If you are looking for a fun movie to share with your family for an upcoming family movie night, or would love to do a daughter/mommy movie night, then I highly recommend picking up the new 25th anniversary of The Swan Princess on Blu-ray. This is definitely one of those movies you will want to own, and will watch time and again. I saw this movie when I was younger, and am so happy to get to share it with my girls, all these years later. And, maybe down the road they will be sharing this movie with their children, and share about our fun girls' only movie nights featuring Odette dress up and spa pampering. :-)

Alise doubt her feelings. While Li and Lucas fight for Alise’s heart, Derek and
