If you follow my blog, then you know just how much I love Precious Moments. In addition to gifting my girls will ornaments, I also love to celebrate special milestones and memories with Precious Moments figurines that I usually gift at birthdays and on special occasions throughout the year. Knowing just how much I love Precious Moments, my girls (with the help of their Daddy) surprise me with a figurine at Mother's Day. This started back when I became a mom in 2010, thanks to my oldest daughter, and then again in 2011, when I welcomed our youngest. Motherhood is truly an amazing gift, and I cherish my two girls every day of the year.
As an early Mother's Day gift this year, the folks at Precious Moments sent me two beautiful figurines for me to enjoy. I was sent their “Love You Bunches, Mom!”, which is available with either a little girl or boy (depending on if you are mom to a boy or girl, or both), as well as their “My Favorite People Call Me Grandma” Bisque Porcelain Figurine. As soon as I took these two figurines out of their boxes to get a closer look at them, I couldn't help but tear up. They were so beautiful and a great reminder of the best gift I was ever given (twice), and how my mom, who I am lucky enough to still have on this Earth is my best friend and rock.
I strive each day to be the best mom I can to my two girls, and be just like my mom. So, seeing these two Precious Moments figurines reminded me of the wonderful blessings I have in my life - both as a mom, and also being able to make my mom a grandmother, so that she can love my girls to pieces, and spoil them like only a grandmother can. :-)
