Check out Kabillion... A Free VOD Network Just for Kids (Review)

We recently did away with our satellite service, as we were paying over $250 a month to carry our service and rent all the equipment.  This was a long time coming, as my husband and I had been talking about either downgrading our package (which had add-ons for movie channels and the girls' kid channels), to save money.  With all of our schooling in the home and outside, along with extracurricular activities, we only found ourselves watching television right before bed, or on the weekend -- not worth dishing out all that money  for limited television viewing time.  But, like most families, we weren't sure how we would handle giving up cable cold turkey, and if we did get rid of it, would we miss it or wish we kept it.  I didn't want to cancel service and then have to sign up for a new 2-year contact with extra installation fees, either.  So, after trying out different streaming services, some paid and some FREE, we finally felt confident that we could cut the cord once and for all, and save money (maybe use some for upcoming summer travel).

One of the FREE VOD services that we have been loving, and streaming through our new ROKU stick is Kabillion.  This is a kid-friendly platform that offers a wonderful selection of programming for kids of all ages.  Just look at the shows you will find on Kabillion...

If you had/have cable and Kabillion sounds familiar, that is because this channel is available through Comcast, Spectrum, Charter Communications, Cox, and other cable providers, as well as having its online streaming service, which we have been loving, since adding to our ROKU channel lineup a couple weeks ago.

Like I mentioned above, we have been checking out the Kabillion channel for a couple weeks now, and I have found that it has become a favorite of the girls, over the paid streaming services we have. And, compared to other so-called kids' streaming services, this one is actually FREE. You don't have to worry about buying a monthly membership to watch more shows. And, the shows are of great quality...you will not find viewer created reviews/toy demos, or other silly kid cartoons that many of the streaming kid's channels offer.  This is what I was afraid of at first, as I have had to remove many of the kid's content and channels that my girls have added to our ROKU channel line up as the content/shows were not appropriate for their age range, or it just wasn't something I wanted the girls to watch.

There really is something for all ages (specific to kids ages 6-12), and for both boys and girls.  My girls love watching Barbie Dreamtopis, Miraculous, Barbie Vlogger, LEGO Ninjago, and LEGO Friends, to name a few, all of which are found on Kabillion, and all are FREE.  I still can't get over how all this amazing content for kids is FREE.  And, compared to the paid channels I used to have to add on with our satellite service, I am loving this channel so much more.  We didn't have Kabillion with our previous satellite service, so it wasn't until a couple of weeks ago when I added it to our ROKU lineup that I was able to see all the wonderful shows for kids to enjoy.

I am so glad I had the opportunity to check out Kabillion with my family, and am also glad we don't have any regrets with getting rid of cable.  Thanks to Kabillion, the girls aren't missing cable television, and are finding more age appropriate shows to watch that I approve of, and also enjoy sitting down to watch with them.  If you are looking to get rid of cable, or only use streaming services for your family's shows, I recommend you check out Kabillion. This kid's streaming platform is amazing, and a must have channel to stream FREE for families with kids ages 6-12.    You can learn all about Kabillion by visiting https://www.kabillion.com/.
