I love to add fun pocket-sized puzzle and coloring books to my girls' stockings at Christmas, as I know they will keep them busy at home and on the go.  Usually when we make the trip up to my parents house for Christmas dinner each year, my girls will bring a favorite new toy Santa brought, as well as their backpack filled with a movie to watch on the way there or back, and a few puzzle and activity books that were included in their stockings, along with new crayons, colored pencils and glitter pens.

So, when I stumbled across "The Kids' Book of Dot to Dot 1 pocket-sized puzzle book from the popular Buster Puzzle Books recently, I had to get my hands on a review copy to share with my girls, especially my oldest who loves dogs and would go crazy when she saw the cover.  And, that she did, when I shared it with her the other day.  This puzzle book couldn't have come at a better time as she has been battling a nasty stomach bug that has been going through our house and seems to be sticking around with her.

It was nice to see her spirits perk up when I gave her this puzzle book, and she saw the dog on the front color.  While this dot-to-dot book for kids is not all about dogs, it does have this and other fun animal puzzles to solve, in addition to fun scenes and other playful characters.  With over 120 puzzles included in this book, I knew this book would keep my daughter busy while she was resting on the couch. And, when she went up to her room to rest in bed, she could tuck this pocket-sized book in her pocket or pillow case and bring up with her, to do more when she felt better.

In no time at all, my daughter completed all the fun dot-to-dot puzzles, before showing me her favorites.  She was quick to ask if I had more puzzle books like this as she would love to do more. I told her seeing how much she loved this book, and how it provided her hours of enjoyment, that I would buy more for her and her sister.  These are the other books currently available in from the Buster Puzzle Books series, which would make for great stocking stuffer ideas for your kids this holiday season.

And, most are only $4.99, and can be found over at Amazon, as well as other popular booksellers.
