Kids Will Have Fun Growing Their Own Magical Garden Complete with a Solar Powered Windmill and Working Water Wheel from PlayMonster (Review)

Disclosure: I was sent a sample from the vendor in exchange for an honest review. All views shared are mine and mine alone.

A couple years ago, I shared a review of the My Fairy Garden from PlayMonster.  This was when this magical garden set for kits first released, it was a huge hit with kids, and parents.  My girls loved their My Fairy Garden, and continue to use it to this day.  This past year, we switched up the seeds with leftover windflowers we had from their outdoor garden, and I couldn't believe how it took off.  The girls had so much fun tending to their garden each day, and watching the flowers grow.  When it was in full bloom, it really made their My Fairy Garden look like a magical place.

And, now this year, the folks at PlayMonster have outdone themselves with the release of their new Windmill Terrace garden from the now popular My Fairy Garden line.

What sets this garden apart from the others is that this comes with a solar powered windmill.  Yes, you read that right..this garden has a windmill that actually moves.  Cool, huh?

When my girls first saw the windmill turn thanks to the sun's energy, they were all smiles and said that this was truly a magical fairy garden.

Like the other My Fairy Garden kits, the Windmill Terrace kit comes with everything you need to get your garden up and going, including tools, soil and seeds.  You just need to add water! :-)  Geared towards kids ages 4+, this is the perfect garden for beginning green thumbs, or those who love to have a garden year round to tend to.

The garden is easy to put together -- most parts snap together into place.

This year our vegetable garden didn't last long as the deer and and a groundhog thought we had planted it just for them to have a feast.  Disappointed with not having a garden to tend to, I let the girls switch up their own My Fairy Garden with wildflowers.  The flowers started to sprout just as we were starting a month of botany study in our homeschooling.  The girls used their My Fairy Garden to document how a flower grows from seed to plant, and they kept a record of watering, growth, and sun exposure -- so it was a full-fledged lesson in gardening/botany thanks to this garden set from PlayMonster.  And, now my girls don't have to fight over this My Fairy Garden, as the addition of the Windmill Terrace will allow them to each have a garden to tend to. :-)

Do you have a budding gardener or child who wants their own indoor flower garden?  If you do, then you will want to check out this and other My Fairy Garden kits from PlayMonster.

Right now you can score the Windmill Terrace magical garden from Amazon for only $29.99, which is a steal if you ask me.  Not only do you get the fairy garden, which includes a fairy and two swan figures to add to your garden, but the windmill is solar powered, and there is even a working water wheel.  Yep, you get a working water wheel, too!

See, I told you the folks at PlayMonster outdid themselves with this particular magical garden.  So many features that will have your kids smiling as they check on and tend to their magical gardens each day.

My girls are loving the Windmill Terrace, and can't wait for their garden to be in full bloom, so that they can admire and use the garden as a model for a fun art class. They love drawing and painting pictures of their gardens, and this magical garden is definitely going to make for a beautiful canvas to paint.
