I have a new guilty pleasure now.  For the past two nights after the girls go to bed, I relive my childhood by watching the new "The Wonder Years Complete Series" from Time Life, and available now at Walmart for only $54.23.

In addition to being a fan of the story lines, and crossing my fingers since the pilot episode that Winnie and Kevin would live happily ever after, I also loved reliving some of my favorite songs of my youth, that play in the background of so many of these great full-length episodes.  Come on, the catchy theme song along, will have you singing it over and over in your end...."What would you do if I sang out of tune...."  Did you start singing along? :-)  I love that song, and I am in love with this new complete series, which includes a soundtrack of over 300 classic period songs as were featured in the original broadcast of this iconic television series.

Oh how I wish I could go back to my youth when everything was so carefree.  Even though I can't, it is still nice to be able to walk down memory lane and watch one of my favorite childhood shows from the beginning. This is one show I will also be sharing with my girls as they grow, and know they will fall in love with Winnie Cooper and Kevin Arnold just like I and so many others fans of this hit show of the 80's and early 90's did, and still do today.

If you were a fan of The Wonder Years growing, and have been waiting like for me the complete series to finally come to DVD at an affordable price, when now is your chance to pick up the Complete Series, available now at Walmart.  This 22-DVD set contains all 115 episodes of the series, which spanned 6 seasons between 1988-1993, as well as 12 hours of bonus material including:

  • Highlights from the first cast reunion in 16 years
  • 6 newly produced featurettes
  • Farewell set tour
  • Roundtable discussions with Danica McKellar, Fred Savage and Josh Saviano
  • One-hour ABC broadcast of the series finale
  • Exclusive interviews with the show's creators and cast
There is over 58 hours of Wonder Years programming in the Complete Series.  I don't know about you, but I get giddy just thinking about this show, and now own the whole series in one box set.

And, now you can to by heading over to Walmart.com or visiting your local Walmart store and picking up The Wonder Years Complete Series box set now for only $54.23.
