“Alexa, Ask Butterball How to Cook a Turkey”

Iconic brand introduces new skill for Amazon Alexa to help cooks “Host Like a Boss”

Is it your turn to host Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner this year for family and friends? If so, and you aren't a master chef, don't fret, as the folks at Butterball have your back, well in this case, your Tom the Turkey. :-)  I was so excited when I learned this AM that Butterball was talking their popular save the day "Turkery Talk-Line" up a notch, by offering a new Alexa Skill.  I don't know about you, but I use Alexa for lots of things -- including keeping a shopping list, setting a timer when I am cooking, listening to music, and using a variety of skills and games.  And, now I can add the new Butterball Skill to my favorite Alexa skills.  To start, all you have to say is:  “Alexa, ask Butterball…” and then you can hear trusted Turkey Talk-line experts share answers to frequently asked turkey preparation questions. The first year I cooked a turkey dinner for my now husbad, I was so thankful for the Turkey Talk-Line as it saved the day from me serving up a dry bird.  And, even though I have been cooking turkey dinners for over 15 years, I still like knowing I can reach out on Thanksgiving and Christmas time to these turkey expects if I find myself in a pickle.  Now, with a Butterball Alexa skill available, it will make accessing turkey preparation advice that much easier.

Here is more about the new Butterball Alexa skill, so you are ready come Turkey day and at Christmas.  And, be sure to read on, as I am hosting my annual Butterball giveaway, where two readers will have a chance to win a $25 Butterball check they can use at the grocery store to help offset their upcoming turkey dinner and fixing costs.
