Do you have a budding magician in your house?  If so, then you will want to check out "The Greatest Magician in the World" book, which features mind-blowing magic tricks that go hand and hand with a fun-filled adventure story.

My girls have always been fascinated with magic and my youngest spent her preschool and kindergarten years saying she wanted to be a face up artist/face painter and magician when she grew up.  We would get her mini magician kits, but they never seemed to be fit for a young child, or she could get bored with them to quickly.  I never thought about looking for a story and magician kit together.  But, after checking out "The Greatest Magician in the World," I realized that this is what my youngest would have loved back then.  What is so cool about this book is that if follows a boy named Elliot who is all about magic.  He is on the search for the greatest magician in the world, and sets on a on great adventure to do just that.

Along the way, readers will learn some of the most popular magician tricks like...

  • Making an object vanish into thin air
  • Amaze friends and family by reading their mind
  • Doing crazy card tricks
  • Predict the future
  • And so much more...

When my youngest saw this book, she was all smiles, and couldn't wait to read the story and try out the different tricks.  The story itself was easy to follow along, and can be understood by even the youngest of listeners.  And, as far as the tricks go, there is instruction in the book, which makes learning and performing them easy and fun.  Before you reach the end of the story, your budding magician will feel like the "world's greatest magician."  Well, maybe not the best in the world, but better than they ever imagined.

Both of my girls really enjoyed this book, and liked how it came with tricks to learn and perform.  As a parent, I loved this interactive feature of the book, as I didn't have to go out and more another magician tricks kit, as everything they needed was included in this book.

With the holidays fast approaching, why not consider picking up this magician story with tricks book to surprise your child with?  As you know kids will get bored with their toys quick, but this book will be something they will want to read or have you read to them time and again, and the tricks really are neat and easy for kids to learn and perform.  They can be the entertainment for holiday parties and dinners this holiday season.  Oh, what fun you all with have with this book, as you gather to read the story and then learn these fun magic tricks together.

Here is more about this book, which is available now from Macmillian Children's Books...

"A showstopping quirky gift book for budding magicians, filled with mind-blowing removable magic tricks. Prepare to be amazed!

Elliot is mad about magic. Completely and utterly mad. It’s all he talks about, all he thinks about, and even all he dreams about! And it’s not surprising, because magic is in Elliot’s blood. His great grandfather had once been known as The Greatest Magician in the World and Elliot is desperate to follow in his footsteps. But it’s tricky when the only magic book in the library is missing half its pages, and there’s no one around to teach you.

But all that’s about to change when Elliot discovers a long lost letter from his great grandfather and embarks on a magical adventure that could change his life forever!

Be bamboozled by the Mind-Reading Pants Trick, or wowed with the Disappearing Object Trick! Written by former professional magician and TV and radio star Matt Edmondson, and illustrated by the bestselling Garry Parsons, The Greatest Magician in the World is an incredible interactive novelty gift book featuring a brilliantly witty and exciting quest story, a cast of personality-packed magicians and everything you need to perform seven jaw-dropping magic tricks. Abracadabra!"
