Disclosure: I was sent a screener from the vendor in exchange for an honest review. All views shared are mine and mine alone.

I remember reading Born Free books from Joy Adamson as a kid, and then watching four different "Born Free" movies based on the books, that introduced people to the animals and the life of these wild animals in Africa, into a family -friendly movie.

In September, Mill Creek Entertainment released Born Free: The Complete Collection, which contains the following movies all on in one set...

  • Born Free
  • Living Free
  • Born Free: The Complete Television Series
  • Born Free: A New Adventure

I have seen other movies and documentaries about Elsa the orphaned lion cub, but have always enjoyed the Born Free movies and television series, as these really introduced viewers to these wild animals, and showed how they can live among humans, when trained, and how all animals should be protected and live without worrying about being poached or harmed out in the wild.

If you grew up reading the Born Free books, or watching the movie or television series by the same name, then you will want to check out this complete collection, now available from Mill Creek Entertainment, for only $19.98

About this DVD Collection, Available Now:

"In 1960, a book written about raising an orphaned lion cub named Elsa and then releasing her back into the wild became a worldwide bestseller. Born Free was a game changer that essentially altered the way we perceive relationships between humans and animals. Because of the emotional bond George and Joy Adamson formed with Elsa, lions could no longer be dismissed simply as brutal killers to be shot while on safari. Elsa became an individual in the eyes of the world, and her story made her a symbol for all animals’ right to live free. "

This deluxe collection includes the following films and TV series:
BORN FREE (1966)
