Summer is halfway over. How has your summer been going so far? Have you been able to make it to the movies with your family to escape the heat, and take in a good movie? We have been taking advantage of the summer deals at our nearby theaters and seeing all the must-see summer flicks. We recently saw Hotel Transylvania 3 for the second time, and the girls are already asking to see it again.
We first watched it two weeks before the movie's release date thanks to an Amazon Prime special screening, and from that point on, this has been all the girls have been talking about. So, when they saw me take out two Townleygirl kits from the mail last week, they were all smiles. These nail and lip gloss sets are just like the Incredibles ones I shared with you a couple weeks ago and did a giveaway for (read on to learn how you can enter for a chance to win 2 Hotel Transylvania 3 sets from Townleygirl). Savannah was quick to grab the lip gloss set, as she loves applying flavored lip gloss to her lips to keep them smooth and sparkly. :-)
Bella was happy to get the nail polish set as she is all about giving manicures and doing her nails so that they look nice. And, she loved that this Townleygirl set came with nail stickers so she could apply, and show off her love for this great summer movie.
Sisters being sisters, the girls realized that they each were sent 4 pieces with their sets -- Bella got 4 different nail polishes and Savannah got 4 lip balms. So, they decided to share two from their sets so that they both could enjoy the nail polish and lip balms. I love seeing the girls share like this, and getting along. :-)
Like I shared in my last Townleygirl post, I have fan of these sets for girls for a few years now -- ever since my girls started to take interest in beauty products and wanting to make themselves look pretty. What I love about these sets is that they are playful and usually center on a popular show or movie the girls are into, as well as how each comes with a tin or storage bag or container for the girls to keep their lip balms, nail polish and accessories in.
I love not having to go around the house picking up their beauty accessories, as they are quick to put them in the containers or tins and put them in their rooms on their vanity tables. And, if we are traveling, they love gathering up their must have lip glosses/balms and nail polishes and bringing along in their own makeup totes. Where did my little girls go?
