FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HIGH-DEF BLU-RAY™,
FANS CAN RELIVE
ALL THEIR FAVORITE
ELEMENT-BENDING TALES

Available nationally on June 5

My girls and husband have been binge watching Avatar-The Last Airbender: The Complete Series this weekend.  Even though we own the series on DVD's, they were excited to learn that the complete series was releasing on Blu-ray for the first time -- keep an eye out as it hits store shelves on June 5th.

If you follow my blog, then you have probably read review of different Avatar DVD releases from the folks at Nickelodeon and Paramount Home Media Distribution, that I have shared over the years.  My girls first got into this popular Nickelodeon series, when my husband stumbled on it a couple years back.  And, ever since then, my husband and girls have been quick to watch the complete series, which spans three seasons.

Even though they have already seen the complete series, a couple times, that didn't stop my family from wanting to watch it again.  They love all the action and adventure that Aang goes on to fulfill his destiny of being a long-lost Avatar.  My girls said that the series kept getting better and better with each new season, and were sad when it ended.  But, now, they have their DVDs from the popular series, as well as the new blu-ray, which contains the complete series, as well as great bonus content fans of the show will just love...think making of and behind the scenes featurettes.

In addition to watching the complete first season over the course of this weekend, my husband and daughters, also watched all the bonus material on the first disc.  My husband is huge on kung fu so loved the behind the scenes kung fu featurette, while my girls couldn't stop talking about the "The Making of Avatar-From Real Life to Animation."  They love seeing how shows are made from idea to drawings to what they see on the screen.  So, they found this featurette fascinating.  It got them so excited that they whipped out their sketch pads after to draw Aang to hang up.

I could go on and on about about how great Avatar: The Last Airbender series is, but if you have seen the show or have a fan in your house, then you know just how good of a show this was.  I just wanted to make you aware that now the complete series will be available to own on Blu-ray for the first beginning on Tuesday, June 5th.  This new Blu-ray release would make for a great end-of-school gift for the Last Airbender fan in your life, or to pick up and have on hand to keep the kids busy during rainy days this summer.  My girls and husband can't wait for next weekend to roll around so that they can start watching the season 2 disc and see what bonus features are on the disc.  And, once they are done watching the series from start to finish, they are already talking about watching it again.  That's a true fan for you. :-)
