Holiday Gift Ideas -- Turn Your Tablet into a Mini Laptop By Pairing it with the New Trent Airbender 1.0 Wireless Bluetooth Clamshell iPad Keyboard (Review)

Disclosure:  I was sent a sample from the vendor in order to write up an honest review.  All the views shared are mine and mine alone.

I love the whole idea about having a tablet, as it is much smaller than a laptop to tote around, but when it comes to my blogging job, I need to be able to type up a review quickly or jot down notes in notepad.  Try doing that with the tablet's touch keypad and you'll find it to be difficult and time consuming, having to go back and fix errors or mistypes.  If only you could have a mini laptop of sorts that you can hold, but all the great features of a thin and lightweight tablet.

Well, now you can when you pick up the New Trent airbender wireless bluetooth clamshell iPad keyboard case with 360 degree rotation and multi-angle stand.

The version I was sent to review was for iPad 2, 3 or 4.  But, they also make one for those with mini iPads.

As soon as I attached the wireless keyboard, I was ready to go.  I wondered how I could have ever done without this keyboard before, as it has made my life so much easier.  Now I don't get frustrated with mistypes, and I can jot down notes, edit posts, etc., with the ease of the wireless keyboard.

While I am good at tech gadgets, my least favorite thing to do is set things up or install new things, as I find I always struggle trying to figure out what the directions really mean, or run into problems or errors along the away.  I wanted to give the install of this keyboard a try, and was amazed at quick and easy it was to get it working with my iPad.  Within a matter of minutes I was ready to go.

As far at the keyboard go, I love how the keys are light and similar to my keyboard.  I am not a fan of the keyboards out there are rubbery or hard and stick.  My typing speed is much better when the keys are light and can be tapped easily.

But, I have to say that the best feature of this wireless keyboard is how it rotates 360 degrees and can be angled multiple ways, so that I can use when presenting something, sharing the share and contents with someone else or simply moving around in the kitchen and needing to move the stand so that I can see.

Features:
  • Airbender iPad case is compatible with iPad 4, iPad 3, & iPad 2 only. Will not fit the iPad first generation or iPad Air/2
  • Ultra-low profile Bluetooth keyboard (7/16 inch) with optimized key design for comfortable typing experience
  • Multi-adjustable stand for vertical and horizontal iPad positions
  • High quality hard clamshell iPad keyboard case with matte finish
  • The Keys With a row of hotkeys up top and the QWERTY layout at the bottom, no need to fully rely on the iPad screen.
  • iPad case angle choice: Once the arm slides back from the base, the iPad can rest in either trough for different angles. Wireless Connection Pairing is just a few steps away.
  • iPad keyboard case specifications: Input: 5V@1A Bluetooth connection: Range of 33ft or 10m
  • Dimensions: 9.7 x 8 x 1.1 inches Be sure to find the official New Trent logo to ensure a 10-month warranty.

I can't stop raving about this iPad keyboard case from New Trent.  And, with the holidays fast approaching, this would make for the perfect gift for those who are afraid to give up their laptops as they rely on their keyboards to type, or for those who can't without their tablets and love to try new gadgets and accessories.
