From the Imaginative Minds of Disney-Pixar Comes a

Major “Emotion” Picture Beyond Compare!

Along with an all-new animated short “Riley’s First Date?”
And an extensive line-up of bonus features

Ever wondered what the little voices in your head looked like...you know the ones who tell you that they don't have a good feeling about it (fear), or that they are angry and about to blow, or even the one who is disgusted about something.  These, along with with feelings of joy and sadness are the cute characters that make up the Disney/Pixar film, Inside Out, which arrived on DVD/Blu-ray and Digital on November 3rd.

I am always amazed at the Disney/Pixar movies that are made, and find that my girls become instant fans. Savannah was a huge Cars and Toy Story fan for so long, while Bella couldn't get enough of Monsters Inc. But, now, both girls are huge fans of Inside Out, after watching it on DVD.

We missed it in theaters as the girls were still young last year when it released, and wouldn't have sat in their seats long enough for everyone to enjoy and appreciate this masterpiece of a movie.

You can't help but fall in love with sadness. :-)

If you haven't seen this movie, this is one you definitely have to pick up and share with you family. Don't rent it...instead, buy it, as you will find your family wanting to watch it over and over again. I know as my girls have already watched it over a dozen times since we received a week or so again, and continue to ask for it, that is when they aren't playing with their Inside toys, flipping through their Inside Out book or snuggling up to their cuddle pillows and blankets also Inside Out. :-)

And, this movie came at just the right time, as Bella turned 4 back on Nov. 10th and we surprised her with a trip to Boston to the Museum of Science to check out their Disney/Pixar exhibit.  I wish you could have saw the girls' faces light up when they walked into the exhibit area and saw the life size Pixar characters they have cherished all these years -- from Nemo to Mike and Sully and even a section with Joy, Sadness and the other Inside Out characters. What a perfect way to spend a birthday.  They watched the movie going to Boston, got to see how the movie was made, take photos next to the figures and then watched the movie on the way home, before Bella sat down for a piece of cute that was from her Inside Out cake and then opened presents, which you guessed were all Inside Out related.  :-)  See a pattern here.

If you have little ones, you are probably seeing the same thing in your house now that this amazing animated movie is available to own on DVD/Blu-ray and Digital.

If you haven't picked up a copy of this new release, you will want to make a point to, as your children or a child on your holiday shopping list is probably going to ask for it.

And, after you are done watching the movie, make sure you take time to enjoy the bonus features.  Our Bella can't get enough of the Lava short movie that you will find on the DVD copy, while Savannah likes the all-new short, "Riley's First Date," which you will find on the Blu-ray disc.  Just get ready when you watch the Lava short film as it, too, has a catchy song that you will find yourself singing long after the movie is over.  Heck I even cried at the this short film.  :-)

Additional bonus features include:

  • Story of the Story - Join Pete Doctor and the story crew as they walk you through the process of finding this story
  • Paths to Pixar: The Women of Inside Out
  • Mixed Emotions -- Follow the filmmakers as they personify the emotions
  • Mapping the Mind -- Explore the fascinating workings of our mind
  • Our Dads, the Filmmakers
  • Into the Unknown: The Sound of Inside Out
  • The Misunderstood Art of Animation Film Editiing

If you haven't seen this movie yet, you really are in for a treat as this is by far one of my favorite Disney/Pixar movies.  Be warned, if you cry easier, you will want to have tissues for the ending. I am just saying.

Can't wait to hear what you think of this movie.  Right now I have the silly Bing Bong song from the movie in my head thanks to one of the Inside Out toys Bella got for her birthday, that she can't stop playing with.
