Here is another great movie to pick up and share with your kids over the summer months -- this time from the popular animated series, The Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, airing daily on Disney Junior. This particular DVD centers around Minnie Mouse and her new pet salon which is now open for business. In addition to Minnie Mouse, she is also joined by all her clubhouse friends, in this full-length adventure.

All the episodes are pet-themed and center around caring for a pets, which is a great topic to share with little ones, who are always asking for a family pet. Even though we have a little dog named, Lilly, Savannah and Bella are always asking for a pet after they see one walking by or in a pet store. But, they always seem to forget how much time goes into properly caring for and tending to an animal.
Both of my girls loved watching the full length movie, which had them helping Minnie and friends use the right Mouseketools to find the three little kittens that went missing and bring them back to the pet salon in time for Pluto's All-Star Pet Show. I kept hearing my girls saying "Oh, how cute," and "look at that itty bitty kitty" as they watched the movie. And, when it was done, they asked to watch it again, as "they think they missed a few things" and had to go back and check. :-)
If your little ones is a fan of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or Minnie Mouse, then you'll want to pre-order this DVD, which releases in stores on May 19th. And, keep an eye out when you open the package as this DVD comes with a cute pet comb inside. Savannah was quick to snatch this up and uses it each morning to brush her hair. She loves the cute paw print design found on the top of the comb. :-)

This is one that I want to see I always loved Mickey and Minnie Mouse and the pet salon sounds super cute.
