Hey Dude: The Complete Series

If you were a child/teen growing up in the 90's, then you probably watched the cult sitcom, Hey Dude, which aired on Nickelodeon.  I, myself, was a huge fan of the show, and would rush off the bus every day just to watch the show.  :-)

Back in 2013, I had the opportunity to review "Hey Dude, Volume 4" on DVD, when Shout! Factory released it.  I had hoped then that Shout! Factory would release the entire series as part of a DVD collection.  Well, they finally have! :-)  When you pick up the "Hey Dude: The Complete Series" from Shout! Factory, you will get to enjoy all 65 full-length episodes from this popular 90's show (all five season), as well as a bonus interview with Christine Taylor who played Melody.

My husband had never heard of Hey Dude, so we have been using at-home date nights and the recent up all nights with the girls being sick to watch this show.  He enjoyed the sitcom and was eager to see some of the 65 episodes (we are halfway through watching), and has since become a fan. :-)

If you were a fan of Hey Dude, which aired between 1989-1991, then you will want to pick up this new complete series collection, so that you can relive some of your favorite Hey Dude moments.  Hopefully one day I will get to share this show with my girls, and can't wait to see what they think of it. :-)

More about this complete series release:

"Yippee-kai-aie-ay! For the first time on DVD, Shout! Factory will release Hey Dude: The Complete Series, featuring all 65 episodes of the fan-favorite series.  Available March 10th, 2015, the box set also includes an interview with Christine Taylor as a bonus feature.

Come on down to the Bar None Ranch, where well-meaning owner Mr. Ernst (David Brisbin) tries his best to ride herd on his teenage staff, who always seem to be getting into some sort of scrape or other as they work and play  on the range.

Hey Dude stars Christine Taylor as lifeguard Melody, David Lascher as senior staff member Ted, Kelly Brown as horse trainer Brad, Joe Torres as the easygoing Danny, Debra Kalman as ranch hand Lucy and Josh Tygiel as Ernst’s son, Buddy.

Hey Dude ran on Nickelodeon from 1989 – 1991 and has since become a cult sitcom favorite."
