A Mouse Tale

Who knew that mice could be so cute?  That is well Bella said as we watched "A Mouse Tale" yesterday, while the snow fell yet again outside.  In this new DVD release from Lionsgate Home Entertainment, out today, your family will be introduced to two adventure seeking mice, Sebastian (voiced by Drake Bell) and Samantha (voiced by Miranda Cosgrove). These two mice are sent on a mission to save their kingdom from being overtaken by evil rodents.  It is up to these two mice to be brave to track down a magical crystal that will help them defeat these evil rodents and restore peace and order to their kingdom.

I wasn't sure what my girls would think when I put this movie on.  While they fell in love with the cover art showing Sebastian and Samantha, they are not usually one for mice films.  But, I was pleasantly surprised as they sat through the whole movie, and asked to watch it again, as soon as the credits started to roll.  I, too, found myself getting into the movie and finding it to be a wonderful family friendly movie, and one I would watch again with the girls, and recommend to friends and family for a wholesome and entertaining family movie night flick.

In addition to working together to bring peace to their kingdom and rid it of the evil rodents, Sebastian and Samantha also learn about themselves on their journey.  They also learn about teamwork and friendship, too.  I especially liked how the movie shared with viewers the importance of being confident in all that you do.  If you lack confidence, how will you ever succeed in life?  This heartwarming movie is filled with wonderful life lessons and themes that parents can talk to their children about after the movie.  It has also been awarded the "Dove Family Approved" seal, making it a great movie to share with kids of all ages, for your next family movie night.  I can't wait to hear what you think about this cute fantasy film, featuring two brave little mice, who will not stop until they save their kingdom and restore it to order.
