One of the new things I have been finding with kid's television to DVD releases is that fun action figures or surprises are being added to them, to make them gift sets. I have shared a few recent DVD gift set reviews where the DVDs included a collectible plastic toy of one of the characters of the show. I am guessing that we are seeing more and more of these because of the upcoming holidays. Either way, my girls are loving these gift sets, and love toting their new toys around with them, or lining them up to admire on their dressers.
On December 2nd, Julius Jr. "Snow Monkey Adventures" will release on DVD and will include a cute Julius Jr. collector's figure included in the box packaging. Fans of this new animated series, which airs on Nick Jr., will go crazy for this new release with fun extra -- I know as my girls, who are huge fan of the show, fought over this the other day when we received. I ended up having to swoop in and take the figure for myself. :-)
If you haven't sat down to watch a Julius Jr. episode and have little ones, you should really make a point to. Not only do the episodes spark your child's imagination through fun adventures and creative play, but the music videos included in the episode are sure to get your child up out of their chair, and dancing around. :-)

Like many other animated series which air on Nick Jr., Julius Jr. is great at teaching little ones about friendship, cooperation, working together as a team, and so many other great learning and development skills. I am so happy to see Paul Frank's family of characters come to life on the television show, for little ones to enjoy. And, I only see my girls' Julius Jr. DVD collection growing. :-)
