We were first introduced to the popular Lalaloopsy franchise when Santa brought the girls an assortment of Lalaloopsy dolls, along with the Lala-Oopsies: A Sew Magical Tale DVD. And, then this past Easter, the Easter Bunny surprised Savannah with the April release of "Lalaloopsy Ponies: The Big Show" on DVD. Savannah is a huge pony fan and loves all things pony, whether it is clothes, toys or movies. Bella is slowly getting into them, as she sees Savannah playing with them all the time, or toting them around in the car when we go places. I wish you could have saw the girls' faces when they unwrapped their first Lalaloopsy DVD at Christmas, and then saw the toys that went along with the movie. With still more gifts to unwrap, they both asked to stop and watch the movie. We had them finish up unwrapping their gifts, and then put the movie on, while I prepared the Christmas dinner.
Since receiving these two Lalaloopsy DVD's, I have lost count on how many times the girls have watched them. We watch them at home and on the go in the car. And, whenever a holiday with gifts rolls around, the girls are both quick to ask for Lalaloopsy toys. While they still love the Lalaloopsy Ponies, they have since moved onto the Lalaloopsy Babies and Littles, and have started to collect these cute and cuddly dolls.
With cute names like Crumbs Sugar Cookie and Mittens Fluff 'N' Stuff, you can't help but want to collect them all, and snuggle up close with them. I like the personal sewn effect of the dolls, and think this makes them popular amongst children. My youngest always points to the stitched button eyes, before she smiles and gives her Lalaloopsy Babies doll a big hug and kiss.

We will definitely be setting the DVR this upcoming Saturday, June 26th at 1:30PM, and will staying home for the day, just so that the girls can watch the Laloopsy Babies 1-hour Special airing on Nick Jr. If you have a Laloopsy fan in your house, this is one special they will not want to miss. And, I know that after they watch it, with their dolls in hand, they will be asking to watch it again and again from the DVR.
