Whether you are gearing up for major spring cleaning, or maybe a Girls' Night Out or even a Out of the House Date Night with your sweetie, the folks at P&G have you covered. Recently, I was invited by the folks at She Speaks to participate in a review and giveaway of P&G products.  SheSpeaks teamed up with P&G for the P&G Best of Me Program, to bring me and my readers award-winning products from P&G brands that can help inspire some of our favorite spring time occasions – Girls’ Night Out, Guys’ Night Out, Date Night and Spring Cleaning!

Just look at I was recently sent to review including brands like CoverGirl®, Secret®, Mr. Clean®, Old Spice® and Crest® ...

This assortment of P&G products was valued at over $70 is also up for grabs for one lucky Inspired by Savannah reader to win.

Collectively, these brands have won hundreds of awards over the last several years."

Remember in a past post about P&G how I asked you to check out the different products in your house and see who makes them.  Many of you, like I was, was surprised to find that our house was filled with P&G brand products.  From makeup, to bath and body products and even toothpaste products, diapers and pet food, the folks at P&G always have their customers in mind when they add new products to their already popular product lines.

And, with spring cleaning in full force at my house, I continually reach for P&G products including Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Select-A-Size, Swiffer products and even Febreze fabric refreshers and candles.

When you have children, especially young children, it is hard to clean the house from top to bottom and have it stay that way until the following week.  And, when it comes time for spring cleaning, I have found that instead of trying to do everything at once and be disappointed when the house looks like it did before cleaning a day or two later, that it is best to break up the cleaning and tackle it over a few weekends.  Two weeks ago, I scrubbed down the 4 bathrooms in our house and started washing and storing away everyone's winter clothes.  This past weekend, while my husband was outside with the girls picking up sticks and trash in the yards, I was able to change out the winter sheets and clean each of the bedrooms in the house.  Next Saturday, I will tackle the family room, living room and play rooms, and just have the kitchen/dining area left after Easter dinner.

But, like they say, all work and no play makes for a grumpy gal.  Haven't you heard that? :-)  Because I am in the midst of spring cleaning, my husband has been helping out watching the girls and keeping them out of the rooms I am tackling as not to slow down my progress.  He knows that I am not a fan of cleaning, especially after doing it all week long, staying home with the girls.  So, he surprised me this past Friday by taking me out for our date night.  Before our girls, it was always easy to go out after work and have a nice dinner and even take in a movie or other activity.  But, once you have children, taking them to a restaurant and trying to enjoy a meal is stressful enough, and finding just the right babysitter you trust will oftentimes leave you home on Friday night for in-house date nights like we have been these past couple of years.

It was so nice to go out for dinner.  We even saved room for ice cream, and hit up our favorite ice cream shop that had just opened for the season.  We didn't have to worry about the girls fussing at the table waiting for food, or cleaning up ice cream spills and messes, as the girls were home with the babysitter.  Because I am not used to date nights out of the house, I totally forget how much fun it was to get all gussied up from head to toe, after taking a hot shower and putting on makeup.  I felt like a million bucks, and my husband couldn't stop complimenting me on how good I looked -- as he usually sees me in lounge pants and t-shirts when he gets home from work during the week.

I took our date night as a great time to try out some of the samples included in the P&G Best of Me sampler box I was recently sent.  Being a busy mom on the go, I usually don't have time for teeth whitening kits that take more a few minutes to use.  I like being able to apply a white strips and being able to do other things while the whitening process works.  So, I was in love with the Crest 3D White Strips upon first trying them.  I simply applied the white strips, wore them for an hour, and couldn't get over how much whiter my teeth looked.  It took years of stains from coffee and soda away in just one use.  Now that I had a sparkling smile, I had fun trying out the beauty products from Cover Girl, including the CoverGirl Line Exact Liquid LinerCoverGirl Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss and CoverGirl FlamedOut Mascara.  This was a far cry from the basic Cover Girl cover-up stick I use on the weekends to conceal dark circles under my eyes, followed by a black mascara to open my eyes more.

It is funny how guys can get ready in 10-15 minutes, which includes shower time.  My husband finds that when he uses products like Old Spice Fiji Body Wash, which is scented, he can skip on the cologne.  He just has to brush, comb his hair, put on deodorant and is ready to go.  Ah, the simple life of men. :-)

Prior to getting dressed, I applied Secret Clinical Strength Light & Fresh Scent, which I have been using for quite some time now.  This deodorant is so strong that it can last up to 48 hours.  After spending each day running after and toting around my girls, I need a deodorant that works and will keep me dry and not smelling bad. :-)  And, Secret Clinical Strength Light & Fresh Scent  does the trick, even on the most hectic and stressful of days.

Just before my husband and I were about to leave the house for dinner, Savannah came running into the kitchen to tackle on Bella and let us know that she had drawn on one of the play tables with a marker.  In the past I would have freaked out and spent hours scrubbing away, only to lightly fade the mark.  But, after a friend told me her saving grace was Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Select-A-Size and how this magic eraser cleans everything, I don't have to worry about marks my girls leave on the walls, toys, plastic, etc.  With one quick swipe of a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, the stains are gone and the toys look new again.

Not even a little marker on a table could stop my husband and I from enjoying a few hours out.  And, that we did Friday night, thanks in part to a little help from the P&G products we used. :-)
