It's Party Time...With Peppa Pig and Her Friends in the fun new app...

To go along with the recent DVD release, the folks at P2 Games released a fun new app called "Peppa Pig's Party Time" for fans to enjoy. And, this past weekend, my girls had a blast helping me review this app, which is jam packed full of fun and games.
Fans will love helping Peppa Pig prepare for her birthday party by helping her create invitations, decorating and filling party favor bags, and most importantly baking and decorating the birthday cake.
I don't know about you, but both of my girls LOVE stickers. They could spend an entire afternoon decorating blank sheets of paper or filling their sticker books with new stickers. So, when Savannah saw the design the invitation and party bags feature on this new Peppa Pig app, she was so excited. She loved picking different stickers to make the goody bags more festive. You would think she was planning for her own party, as she thought long and hard on what items she wanted to add to the goody bags for the party goers to take home. :-)
Once the party preparations were done, the fun and games could begin. This app contains all of Peppa Pig's friends that fans of the hit Nick Jr. animated series have come to love including Rebecca Rabbit, Suzy Sheep, Danny Dog, Pedro Pony, Zoe Zebra and even Peppa's little brother George.
Games included in this party themed app are PASS THE PARCEL, MUSICAL CHAIRS and PINATA, as well as other fun party-themed activities. Each of these games can be played in single and multi-player formats, making this a great app to play alone or with friends and family. Savannah wanted to try out each of the seven games before letting Bella have a turn or joining. She wanted to be the first to see and try out, and as I watched her, I could see her excited as each name game was played.
I have reviewed my fair share of kids apps. And, over the years, I have built a list of reputable app developers who offer top quality apps for kids, that are not only fun and educational to play, but also don't include in-app purchases or transferring of personal data during game use. P2 Kids has ranked top on my list, and is one app seller that I highly recommend to friends and family with young children. The new Peppa Pig app is just another of many P2 Kid Safe apps available. A P2 Kids Safe app "DOES NOT contain in-app purchasing or data gathering systems of any kind, meaning your children can safely play without fear of unwittingly purchasing app content or credits, or disclosing data about their playing habits, location or the device they are using." I love this piece of mind, when it comes to letting my children play with game apps like this, and not having to worry about them asking me to purchase additional game tokens or have our personal information disclosed unwillingly.
This new Peppa Pig app is geared towards children ages 3-6 yrs. old, is compatible with iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Android devices, and is available at iTunes and Amazon for $4.99. As the game launches, kids will go crazy as they hear the hit Peppa Pig show opening and her Peppa Pig, George, Mommy Pig and Daddy Pig appear on the screen. Savannah couldn't help but let out a few loud pig oinks, just like the characters do. Then, it was on to party time fun and games, where players get to choose between the following seven games/activities...
Out of the different games available for play with this new app, Savannah's favorite was the musical chairs and Pinata games. She especially loved being able to choose the four players to compete in each game.
And, just like with any fun party, Savannah was able to take photos and save them to our iPad, to look at later. :-) I just went to transfer some photos I took earlier today for upcoming blog posts and found the iPad was filled with festive Peppa Pig party photos the girls had snapped. I can see that they are having fun with this new app.
