My Thoughts:

I don't know about you, but when it comes to Hallmark Channel movies, I could watch them over and over, without getting tired of them.  One reason we upgraded our cable channel lineup last year was so that I could get the Hallmark Channel to watch their movies and television shows on this family-friendly channel.

One thing that the Hallmark Channel is known for is turning out movies in a series.  Because they know they have such a loyal fan base for their movies, they please the audience further by offering sequels that pull us in and have us watching and waiting for more. One hit series that I was a fan of was "The Good Witch," which has aired three movies, all boasting extremely high viewership numbers.

On April 22, Cinedigm will be releasing The Good Witch’s Garden, which was the second in the so-far six installments (with another sequel set to air this fall), which the most recent being The Good Witch’s Destiny, airing this past October.  I couldn't believe that "The Good Witch's Garden" originally aired back in 2008, as it seems like just yesterday I was watching it with my mom.  Whenever a new Hallmark Channel movie is set to air, I make a point to watch it with my mom.  If she can't come down to visit and watch it with me, we are on the phone watching and talking about it.  I have so many great memories of watching these heartwarming movies, which always leave my mom and I reaching for a box or two of tissues throughout each one.

So, when my mom was down visiting the girls this weekend, I surprised her with the screener copy of The Good Witch’s Garden to watch. Even though we had seen this movie when it originally aired and a couple times thereafter, we were still excited to watch it again.  So, after the girls went to bed, I made some popcorn and we settled it to watch this great Hallmark Channel movie.  Just like the previous times we saw this movie, we couldn't stop talking about great it was, and how we loved how the story line picked up right where it left off.  As you watch this and the most recent movie, you can't help but feel connected in a way to the characters, as you have followed them like a fly on the wall through the 6-sequel series.  We have seen the plot evolve, romances blossom and characters rediscovering themselves.  What more can you ask for in a Hallmark Channel original movie? :-)

Don't worry as I will not bore you with a summary of this upcoming release, as you have probably seen it a time or two, like I have.  I just wanted to share with you the release date in case you wanted to have a fun girls' night in or a night to just veg out in front of the television as you watch this great Hallmark original movie.  You can pre-order a copy of this DVD now from Amazon for only $12.99, and make a point to pick up when it arrives in stores on April 22nd.
