Give the Gift of Headache Relief This Holiday Season w/ the NewThermal-Aid Headache Relief System -- Review and #Giveaway

Disclosure:  I was sent a sample from the vendor in order to write up an honest review.  The views shared are mine and mine alone.

When it comes to gift giving this holiday season, why not consider giving those who suffer from headaches relief?  I, for one, would love to receive a gift that would help alleviate the headache pain I have, without having to take medicines, which usually leave me with an upset stomach or feeling funny, or just don't work.  Ever since I was a child, I have dealt with migraine headaches, which are brought on by stress, weather changes, or sinus congestion.  I can thank my mom for this, as she has to deal with the same thing.  :-)  But, between the two of us, we have tried countless cure all headache relief products and medicine, but have yet to find something that actually brings relief -- that was until I was recently sent the new Thermal-Aid Headache Relief System.

Not expecting much from this headache relief system, I didn't think much when trying out this product.   But, after dealing with a recent migraine headache for over a week, due to weather changes, I had nothing to lose when trying it out.

Here is more about the new Thermal-Aid Headache Relief System, which is shared on the Thermal-Aid website:

"Thermal-Aid treats pain, muscle tension and light sensitivity simultaneously for fast, dependable, welcome relief in minutes. No pills. No side effects. Created by a Board-certified Neurologist, the Thermal-Aid Headache System is clinically proven to relieve tension and migraine headaches.

Migraine, tension and stress headaches. Thermal-Aid also promotes relaxation and sleep because usage calms the stress and tension that lead to restlessness. Just apply the Headache Relief Cream and put on the cold Eye Pack.

Headache Relief Cream- A powerful but safe, topical analgesic, pain reliever that is applied directly to your temples and forehead.

Our cold press Eye Pack blocks light that can aggravate headache symptoms. The Eye Pack is also designed to apply subtle pressure to ease forehead and temple tension. Our Bio-Engineers and Doctors worked closely with milling experts using a unique patented process, which removes the embryo/germ tip cap and outer coat from each kernel of corn, leaving the purest and cleanest portion of the corn product. This process hardens the specialized de-germinated corn, allowing it to hold temperatures evenly for long periods of time. It also eliminates mold, fungi and foul odors often associated with natural heating/cooling products."

This is not the first time I have tried a Thermal-Aid product.  Back in 2012, I featured their neck wrap as part of my Mother's Day gift guide.  I have shared that due to my cancer treatment, I have been left with daily pain in my neck and shoulders.  Plus, having to carry around and deal with two toddlers on a daily basis, can leave my neck, shoulders, and even back sore by the end of the day.  I raved about the neck wrap then, and still use it to this day, with great results.   The only difference between the neck wrap I reviewed and this new Headache Relief System, is that this kit comes with a headache relief cream, you apply directly to your temples and forehead before resting the Thermal-Aid cold Eye Pack on.

Upon applying the cream and then the cold pack, I was impressed with the fact that the cold eye pack kept out the light -- which doesn't help when you have a pounding headache.  I could also feel slight pressure around the temple and forehead area, which you can't get with simply draping a cold facecloth over your eyes/face.  I laid down to let the Thermal-Aid headache relief system work.  The next thing I knew, I woke up feeling refreshed and...without a headache.  :-)  I couldn't believe it, as I had been trying to get rid of this migraine headache for almost a week.  And, it only took less than a half hour to fall asleep and wake up without the headache, just by simply using the new Thermal-Aid Headache Relief System.  I didn't want to take this as a cure all for my headaches, as I only tried it once.  So, I would have to wait until another headache come on to try it again. Luckily, I haven't suffered from a headache since.  But, this past weekend, when my mom came to visit, she woke up with a sinus headache.  I told her I had just the thing for her.  And, after applying the cream and resting the cold eye pack on her face, she, too, laid down to let it work.  Unlike me, she didn't fall asleep.  But, after resting comfortably for about an hour, she came downstairs and had great news...her headache was gone, too.

So far we have tried out the Thermal-Aid Headache Relief System twice, and both times, our headaches went away.  I am not hoping for another headache soon, just to try out the headache system again.  But, I know that if a headache comes on, I will now have a non-medical way to get rid of it. :-)

With the holidays right around the corner, the stress of the busy season oftentimes leaves headache suffers with headaches.  Why not give them the gift of relief in the form of the new Thermal-Aid Headache Relief System?  This is one gift they will be surprised to get, but will love once they try it out and see the results.  And, it will be one gift they will use time and time again. I know, as I will be reaching for the cold eye pack and Headache Relief Cream the next time I have a headache, that I want to get rid.  The worst thing to have is a headache, when you want to enjoy quality time with family and friends this holiday season.
