My Thoughts:

One of Arabella's favorite shows to watch on Disney Junior is "Guess How Much I Love You: The Adventures of Little Nutbrown Hare.  This new animated series is inspired by the best-selling books, which we have been reading to the girls for the past couple of years.  While Savannah is more of a cat lover, Bella loves everything bunny rabbit. This past year, Easter was her favorite holiday, and if they had a bunny costume in her size, she would probably be it for Halloween tomorrow night.  :-)

The books and the animated series airing daily on Disney Junior do an amazing job at letting young children know just how much their parents love them, and the strong bond between a parent and child.  I love being able to turn to my girls and ask them "Guess How Much I Love You?"  and then have them respond by extending their arms as wide as they can go, before running over to give me a bear hug.  These are times that I treasure, as I have learned that they are only little for a short time. :-(

This upcoming DVD release contains 7 episodes, which have already aired on television, but are some of our favorites.  They include:

  • Hidden Treasure
  • Finder's Keepers
  • It's Okay
  • Slip, Slop, Slide
  • Inside Day
  • Where's Little Redwood Fox?
  • Snowflake

Since receiving this DVD to review last week, we have already watched it half a dozen times.  Each morning when I getting the girls ready for the day, I will ask which movie they want to watch before nap time.  Bella always runs and grabs this DVD, and will ask for "Snowflake" or "Slip, Slop, Slide." As a parent, I can't say "No" to this DVD, as I love how this animated series teaches young children important life lessons, including friendship, embracing differences in each other and learning from our mistakes.  The episodes are relatively short in length, which is great for keeping little one's attention, while being fun and entertaining to watch.  Fans of the book series, who haven't had a chance to catch this animated series on Disney Junior, will love this new DVD.  So, make a point to check it out when it arrives in stores on Nov. 5th.
