"All aboard the Choo Choo Train...." If you were to stop by our house between the hours of 8AM -4PM each day, you are bound to hear my oldest daughter, Savannah, running around the living room singing along with Genevieve Goings, when Choo-Choo Soul comes on the television, while she is watching some of her favorite shows on Disney Junior. And, if for some reason she doesn't see a Choo-Choo Soul video, Savannah has some You Tube clips saved to the iPad for easy viewing. :-) So, when I surprised her the other day with this recent CD release, you can only imagine how excited she was. And, once I put the CD on for her and Arabella to listen to, they were both singing and dancing in the living room. You would have thought we were having a dance party, with all their excitement. :-)

If you have never heard Genevieve Goings sing, then you are in for a treat when you pick up this CD or download the MP3 tracks through Amazon or iTunes. She has an amazing voice, and turns any song into a soulful masterpiece. Out of the twelve tracks on this CD, I have to say my personal favorite is "The Bare Necessities," from the classic The Jungle Book movie. This was one of my favorite Disney movies growing up, and has become one of Savannah's, too. Genevieve took this catchy song to a whole new level, but adding her soulful vocals to it. As for the girls, they are loving each and every song on this CD. Even though we have only had this CD for a couple of days now, it has been played half a dozen times through so far -- with no signs of stopping. Savannah loves to crawl out of bed and run to the living room, just to hit "play" on the CD player. As soon as Genevieve begins to sing, Savannah is off and running for the day, as she gets in her early AM fix of Choo Choo Soul. :-)
Is your child a fan of Choo Choo Soul and Genevieve Goings, which can be seen on Disney Junior? Then, you will want to pick up this new CD release to surprise them with. It would make for a great Easter Basket gift idea. :-) And, with the warmer weather coming and more road trips planned, this CD will definitely be one you want to grab and bring along for the car ride. Both parents and children will love singing along with Genevieve to some of Disney favorite songs.

Genevieve Goings (the singing conductor) and Constantine “DC” Abramson (the beat boxing and breakdancing engineer) are the urban music sensation singing about ABC’s, 123s and trains for the preschool audience.
