My Thoughts:

This is not my first review of My Little Pony, a hit animated series on The Hub, and I suspect it will not be my last, as every month or so a new DVD from this popular series is released.  Both of my daughters love this series, which is easy to understand and thoroughly enjoyable for young viewers.  I was excited when I first about this series, and couldn't wait to introduce my girls to My Little Pony, which was one of my favorite toys growing up.  And, like me, as soon as they saw the colorful ponies, they were hooked.  I have to admit, I enjoy snuggling up with them on the couch to watch this series each week on the Hub.

With this recent DVD release, fans of the animated series can relive some of their favorite season 1 moments.  All 26 episodes are included on four disc, as well as some fun bonus features including sing alongs, printable coloring sheets and audio commentaries.  If your children haven't seen this series on the Hub, then it is one worth checking out.  With ponies like Rainbow Dash, Flutterfly, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Applejack and Twinkle Sparkle, each episode with engage viewers and teach them about the importance of friendship, as they share in wondrous adventures.  My girls were so excited to receive this DVD, and continue to grow their My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic DVD collection.  We have only owned this recent release for a few weeks now, but have already watched all 26 episodes a handful of times so far. :-)

So, if you have a My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fan in your house, or want to introduce this popular series to your child, make sure you pick up Season 1 now available on DVD, and tune in weekly to the Hub for new episodes of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

Disclosure:  I was sent a copy of this DVD from the vendor in order to write up an honest review.  The views above are mine and mine alone.
