DVD SYNOPSIS
The engines on the Island of Sodor find themselves in some sticky and
slippery situations! Thomas and Butch are stuck in a bind when they don’t
fully listen to directions. Spencer gets lost in the fog but learns he can
actually be Spencer the Helpful. Gordon must swallow his pride after dropping
the Lion of Sodor in the mucky, muddy river and Edward shows Charlie
there’s a time to be Really Fun and a time to be Really Useful. All
aboard for fun-filled tales as friends help each other through all kinds of
sticky situations!"

My Thoughts:
What child doesn't like Thomas and Friends? Since my daughter, Savannah, began reconizing cartoon characters, she began adding Thomas and his friends to her vocabulary, along with "Choo choo." And, for the past couple of years, we have taken her for Day Out with Thomas events, as she can't get enough of Thomas. Her room is even decked out with Thomad wall decals, and she loves playing with her train sets with Daddy. So, when I heard that HIT Entertainment and Lionsgate Home Entertainment were releasing Thomas & Friends: Sticky Situations on DVD on Dec. 11th, I knew a fan that would go crazy watching it -- Savannah. And, she did! We have only had this DVD for a couple of weeks, and I have already lost count of how many times we have watched the four episodes that make up this new release. And, the bonus features are also fun, especially the "Go Go Thomas!" karaoke music video. Whenever I play this video for my girls, they stop what they are doing, and begin dancing around the living room, as Savannah attempts to sing the words. :-) There is also a bonus episode, "Buzzy Bees" which the girls loved.
Overall, this is another great DVD for Thomas & Friends fans to add to their collection. Even though they have probably seen them on television numerous times, they will enjoy watching them on this DVD, and continue to ask to see them again and again. I don't know how kids can sit through the same shows over and over again -- but, if it keeps them entertained, why not? :-)
