Did You Catch "The Littlest Pet Shop" Which Premiered on The Hub TV Network Saturday AM?

Even though our girls were getting over a head cold (which seems to be lasting forever -- going on 3 weeks now), they didn't want me to cancel our mid morning Littlest Pet Shop premiere viewing party that I had scheduled.  Both girls loved this new animated series on The Hub TV Network.  Who can resist furry friends, who have love fashion and have an amazing sense of imagination, and go on fun-filled adventures?

"Premiering on The Hub TV Network on Saturday, November 10th at 11am ET/8am PT, "Littlest Pet Shop" introduces girls to young Blythe Baxter who moves to a big city apartment with her dad above the Littlest Pet Shop - an amazing day-camp for pets of all kinds including a panda, gecko, and even a mongoose.  But the real adventure begins when Blythe discovers she can miraculously talk with the animals!  The pets may be small, but their big personalities often lead to uproarious pop music-inspired song and dance sequences. The animated half-hour comedy series is produced by Hasbro Studios."

To help with my in-house viewing party, I was sent the following goodies to make our premiere party a blast, thanks to the folks at MommyParties:

  • "The Littlest Pet Shop" Screener DVD, containing the following episodes:
    • Ep 101 "Blythe's Big Adventure - Part 1"
    • Ep 102 "Blythe's Big Adventure - Part 2"
    • Bonus: A preview of the season three premiere of the animated hit show "My Little Pony Friendship is Magic"!
  • Goodies for guests, which  included:
    • "Littlest Pet Shop" Flavored Lip Balms
    • "Littlest Pet Shop" Masks
    • "Littlest Pet Shop" Foldable Hair Brush / Mirror
  • "Littlest Pet Shop" Themed Recipe and Activity Ideas

Our living room was packed with little girls running around with their "Littlest Pet Shop" masks, as they waited for "Blythe's Big Adventure" to start.  Each of the girls brought some of their favorite "Littlest Pet Shop" friends with them (which ended up filling two tables up), and couldn't stop talking about how cool these furry friends were.  For the moms, the highlight of the premiere party was when the pets broke out into pop song and dance sequences.  The girls all stopped what they were doing, ran to the center of the living room, and began having their own dance party, as they jammed along with the "Littlest Pet Shop" pets.  Even though this soon to be hit children's series is intended for children 6+, the younger crowd loved it just as much.  And, at only a half-hour per episode, it keeps their attention, which is great for moms who have children of all ages, to have sit together and enjoy this show on The Hub TV Network.

When the premiere party winded down, the girls gave each other hugs and left with a goodie bag filled with their lip balms, coloring sheets I printed out and a foldable hairbrush/mirror.  We can't wait to tune in next Saturday to see what adventures the "Littlest Pet Shop" will take us on.

So, if you have children who love these furry friends and missed today's premiere episode, make sure you set your DVR or tune in next Saturday at 11am ET/8am PT on the Hub TV Network.

Disclosure: I was sent supplies from MommyParties for an in-house premiere party for this event.  The views above are mine and mine alone.
