My Thoughts:

This is by far one of Savannah's favorite books to grab of the shelf and read.  And, when I am not reading it to her, she likes to pull the tabs of this board book and make the animals in the book move around.  She is also into texture books right now, and this book offers great textures for her to feel, in addition to flaps being lifted.  With only fourteen pages, you would think that this book would only keep a young child's attention for a short time.  But, Savannah can sit on the couch and spend over a half hour pulling, touching and lifting the different interactive features in this book, as well as simply admiring the whimsical animal illustrations.

I love reading this book to Savannah and having her show me how she can bring the story to life with the interactive features in this book.  If you children like pull tab, texture or lift flap books, then they will love Sniff! by Matthew Van Fleet. :-) Just be careful with the page in the book that has the mouse whiskers.  Savannah has ripped this pull tab piece off twice so far, while trying to feel them.  I ended up super gluing it back, only to leave off this last time.
