Patches form the Super Secret Pup Club to help out with the missions!
On October 16, 2012, Pound Puppies: Super Secret Pup Club
will arrive on DVD from Shout! Factory Kids in collaboration
with Hasbro. The DVD
set features five exciting Pound Puppies adventures and also contains all-new bonus
features, including Learn to Draw Rebound.

in Children’s Animation, the Pound Puppies series is
currently airing on The Hub in the U.S.
and YTV in Canada.

My Thoughts:
I grew up a fan of Pound Puppies and had over a handful of plush toys I would sleep with and carry around with me. Luckily, my mother saved my stuffed animals, and when I welcomed our two daughters in 2010 and 2011, she gave me a few bags of my toys to share with them. As I began going through the bags, I couldn't help but smile as I pulled out each Pound Puppy, as I remembered how much fun I had playing with them as a child. And, now I was able to share some of my favorite toys with my girls.
Savannah instantly took to the Pound Puppies and loves playing and sleeping with them. And, when I surprised her the other day with Pound Puppies: Super Secret Pup Club DVD, which will be released on October 16th from Shout! Factory Kids, she went crazy, doing her happy dance and clapping. We cuddled together on the couch and watched all five episodes that make up this upcoming release.
The Pound Puppies mission is to find home for all lonely dogs, and we have done our part by rescuing 3 dogs (2 of which we still have). Young children will love watching the littlest puppies, Cupcake, Patches and Rebound help the older dogs fulfill this mission. What a fun way to introduce young children to this popular series, which can be seen on The Hub in the US and YTV in Canada. If only we had The Hub, I would be watching this series with her weekly. :-)
So, set off on a fun adventure with the Pound Puppies, and see if they are able to find forever homes for lonely puppies with the help of the newly formed Super Secret Pup Club. Do all dogs find a home? You'll have to pick up this DVD when it releases on October 16th, to find out. :-)
