My Thoughts:

My husband had a very productive weekend.  Well sort of.  He finally got around to painting the deck, but had to stop halfway through because it started raining.  So, while I had taken my daughters out for the day, he ended up relaxing on the couch and watched all 8 episodes of the final season (Season 10) of the popular animated series, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

This was one of his guilty pleasures when he was going to college.  I remember him asking me to record some of the episodes when he had to work, so that he could watch them at a later date.  He was also a fan of the movies that hit the big screen, and even collected the action figures.  Yes, you can say he was a huge fan.  So, when I showed him the upcoming Season 10 DVD I was sent to review, you would have thought he was a child seeing all the gifts under the tree at Christmas.  He was so excited!

When I returned home to find the deck half done, I asked what he had done with with the rest of his day.  This is when he said he had a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles marathon in his man room.  Out of all the episodes and bonus features, he said his favorites were the two bonus episodes.  But, the other 8 episodes were great, and brought back so many memories.  Who knew a person could spend an entire afternoon watching this DVD from start to finish?  Well, I guess if you have a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan in your house (young or old), they would be able to.

So, mark your calendars for the release of Season 10 on August 14th.
