Journey 2: The Mysterious Island - Own it on Blu-ray Combo Pack or Digital Download 6/5! (Giveaway)

In honor of the upcoming Journey 2: The Mysterious Island 3D, I was asked to do a giveaway and also share the ten things I would bring with me, if I was to be stranded on a mysterious island.  I love writing these types of posts, as it really gets you thinking. Hmm, what would I bring with me?  This is what I came up with:

1) Even though I would love a Mommy vacation, I can't see going away for long, without having my two daughters with me -- so, I would bring them.

2) Sunblock -- You have to be prepared and with fair skin, I burn easy.

3) Mosquito Repellent -- This is the one thing I hate about camping out -- the bugs.  So, I would make sure I brought some repellent with me.

4)  Food, including water and formula for the baby -- Not knowing how long I would be stranded for, I would want to have enough food to keep everyone happy and keep their energy levels up.

5)  Stack of good books and magazines for me and the girls -- With two young children at home, I don't have the time like I used to for reading.  This would give me a great excuse to get caught up. And, I can't go anywhere without book for the girls.  Oh, how I love to snuggle on the couch and read to them daily.

6) Camera with lots of batteries -- This is a must, so that I can capture all the memories from our adventure.

7) Fire starter -- With all the free time I would have, I guess I wouldn't have an excuse for not cooking.  So, I would need matches or a fire starter.

8)  Fishing supplies -- This is usually one of the first items Survivor contestants get and that comes in handy.

9)  My husband -- Thinking about fishing, gathering wood for cooking, etc., make me remember to bring my husband for help ;-)

10) Cell Phone -- Hopefully wherever I was stranded would get reception, so that when I was done being stranded/enjoying time away, I could call and have us rescued and returned to the mainland.
